In the GTA we have the rash of early riding season fatalities. Causes? 1) Riders are out of shape, and awareness, and motor muscle skills have dropped during winter. 2) Riders don't compensate for this by being extra careful during the first few weeks of spring riding.. 3) Roads and tires are cold, so less grip if you try sharper turns at higher speeds. 4) The GTA has 905 fast "suburban" roads where vehicles approach an intersection at high speeds, making a miscalculation deadly. Conclusion: Drive like a careful woosie for the first weeks of Spring until you are back in the riding groove.

Hi Chris, These are all very good points, thanks for sharing 😊 I'm quite familiar with the GTA and can say from experience that driving a car there can be a challenge on its own, I can't imagine what it would be like on a bike. Thanks for watching and stay safe!
