3 Things To Know Before Using Diovan (Valsartan)

I have been on lisinopril for a while. My doctor had added Diovan (why I’ll never know) and my feet and ankles became so swollen that I could barely fit into my sandals or shoes. I took photos of my feet without Diovan and while on it and showed my doctor. She said I shouldn’t have any swelling because Diovan has a diuretic. She saw what it did to me and took me off it right away. It was sooo painful too.

Before Valsartan my Blood sugar in the Morning was about 5.8, after 5 weeks of Valsartan is 7.2!!

I am years in Insulin Resistance, and since i started taking Valsartan for Blood preassure, my Blood sugar went up, is this normal?? Is it the same if i would switch to Telmisartan??

It's a drug used to manage high blood pressure and congestive heart failure.
