I’ve been on it for 25 days now. I get really no effects from the drug, either positive or negative, aside from some anhedonia that would come and go. I up’d my dose from 10mg a day to 15mg 2 days ago, and I have been experiencing significantly heightened anxiety.

I suffer with aniexty and was told to start my 5mg Lexapro today, so far no side affects. Hopefully i will feel better soon

A family member has been on this medication for 55 years (I would definitely say addicted) and constantly complains of throat swelling, itching and sometimes very low blood pressure. Isn't it true that the long-term use and abuse of this medication can indeed cause these symptoms? Of course, this addict refuses to even acknowledge these side effects. But I always thought you should never be on Benzodiazepines for long periods of time because of the addiction issue and if stopped suddenly, could possibly kill you??

Hi. I have had issues with depression long term and mostly with anxiety, related to social but general as well. I have issues with emotional stability, sometimes irrational thoughts, irritability, feelings of anger and low stress tolerance. Do you think this medication is good fit for me or some other meds would be more beneficial? PS I also have issues with thyroid gland ( hashimoto ) so not sure how much this interferes with my symptoms

So if 1.2 liters of grapefruit are needed to interact with Atorvastatin, I'm assuming one or two grapefruit's won't be bad. I happen to really like grapefruits so it's hard not to eat them. I am taking generic (Teva) methylphenidate er 54mg. Unlike name brand concerta, there doesn't appear to be a capsule to release the MPh osmotically. Curious how this type of tablet releases the MPh slowly without that mechanism.

So isn’t it safe to say that the withdrawals are just not having the medication anymore so your condition just returns….. that’s like saying, I’m withdrawing from Tylenol, and the withdrawal symptoms are headaches….😂

Can I have ANY alcohol while on this? Like, low alcohol content canned beer, maybe 1 or 2 cans? Is there any alcohol that is overall safe? Even if drowsiness occurs, if I’m home, what is a safe amount of alcohol?

I have a brother that was on this and he started losing his ability to control his body at 49 when it says that it affects people. Then he got off of it and it’s like getting off of crack. He completely stopped sleeping. No sleep at all. Then they give no help. He took the crap for 25 years. Then he’s all angry and saying that I did. Even crackheads and drunks that I’ve worked with don’t act like this. The he is afraid of doctors and needles. He harasses me non-stop and then says in abuse him if I get away. He could have nerve damage or heart damage because he has edema and stuff. Other medication may kill him. If I try to take him to the doctor he says that’s abuse because he’s scared of doctors. And medications. More so after getting sick. He had cerebral palsy type symptoms and walking and moving gate all of a sudden at 48 or 49 which I read something that that’s the age that stuff happens.
