Lots of good advice, although, I would disagree about getting rid of stuff. One of the great joys of retired life is finally treating yourself to things you wouldn't buy when other responsibilities pulled on your resources. I started playing Pedal Steel guitar when I turned 68. In the last 2 years, I've bought (and sold) at least a dozen of them. I currently own 3 and thinking of commissioning a new one. Downsizing my c r a p is my kids problem after I'm long gone. :)

LOL. Stuff for me was down sizing from a backpack to a small camera bag. As I said in the video, a mechanic needs his tools for his retirement hobby. Minimizing is subjective but for me that worked. Some peoples hobbies actually is collecting things.

You're not crazy, you are crazy to my sleeping schedule.! LOL. Technician how? I enjoy golf though I am, what I call myself, a hacker that knows golf etiquette!

I cannot answer that question. For many, they want to retire from school age others don't want to retire at all. This is a personal choice for everyone. For me, however, 55 was the magic number because of pensions, investments and a lot of planning.
