Long story - short, but my ex-husband became mentally ill( diagnosed withParnoid Schizophrenia) and no longer wanted to be married because he didn't want me to go through that with him. I know what you mean. I had to read those passages in Matthew and John a few times, on more than one day. I asked Holy Spirit to imprint it on my heart and to empower me to do what is written and not judge (or be so bothered by) and to forgive all quickly. Otherwise the enemy gets a foothold. He had to really work on me to understand His principle of Love in everything. Rather than judge, I now pray for them and ask Father to bless them and teach them, just as He has been merciful with me. ❤
