In order to keep our recommendations up to date, we maintain a 'Buyer's Guide' on our Patreon page (with a wide spectrum of models, and a lot of technical and lifestyle-related information). Organizing our recommendations this way makes it easier to include good models that we haven't made review-videos for yet, as well as to remove models which have developed unforeseen wear-issues over time, or which have been weakened by the manufacturer in their current iterations. You can access it here: www.patreon.com/posts/stroller-buyers-37953864 As an independent, consumer-oriented reviewer, we have fewer revenue-streams open to us than the majority of other channels out there, so we do ask for a small donation for access to this guide (as well as a free consultation and access to our other Patreon content). Thanks so much for your help!

So glad i bought a used Buffalo instead of Fox. I considered Fox but I like the design on Buffalo a lot more. I went to the stroller shop to take a look at the Fox but straight away got turned off by the plastic feeling. The stroller felt like a compromise. With Buffalo there are no compromises. Its just so well designed. They should have made the Fox as a replacement for Cameleon, not Buffalo. Great video! Thank you so much!

I have a Buffalo and when I saw the Fox came out I was torn - and always thought that maybe one day I would replace my Buff with a Fox...but after watching this video I feel pretty happy to hang on to my Buff for as long as possible!

My buffalo is having wheel problems I really am sick of it it’s only a few weeks old. What other prams would you recommend that are well built? I’ve had Stokke but they’ve not been great
@BarnevognverkstedNo6 жыл бұрын
What sort of wheel problems? Buffalo doesn't usually have wheel problems. As far as 4-wheel, reversible seat, front wheels that swivel - type models go, Stokke and Buffalo are sort of the apex of where the market is at. Emmaljuna edge (and mondial) duo is a solid 4-wheel, fixed wheel stroller on both the classic and sports chassis, if you can do without swivel wheels. Babyjogger City Elite is wonderful if you can do without the reversible seat. Good Luck :)

The ODDER Pram, a Danish brand, - especially with the Standard Chassie - the ODDER Prams last for years, easily for 10 years. Or The Emmaljunga Pram, a Swedish brand - also prams which last for years. The ODDER Prams with the Standard Chassie is better quality than the Emmaljunga Prams, but both are excellent Prams:-)

Brilliant explanation I would love to do your job it’s so interesting

The white locking release with the black button used to fold the chassis fell off. It had two tiny plastic ”fingers” which pulled a thin cable. The ”fingers” were paper thin and the whole unit was made of brittle plastic. Bugaboo said it could not be repaired and that the chassis had to be replaced. Strange! Is this true? Looks to me like a two minute job if i had the spare part. I can’t see that they sell the part as a spare.

Hi, I can buy a fox stroller for a very good price but the suspension on the left side broke. Do you think I can fix this?
@BarnevognverkstedNo3 жыл бұрын
No, probably not, unfortunately, at least not without significant effort to 3d print any damaged components. This is a model that I would generally avoid buying used at all, especially with defects. :)

I live in Sweden and looking for my very first stroller. I have troble with my back so I need a lightweight easely manouverable stroller. Would you say this model is a good fit?
@BarnevognverkstedNo4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Just test it in the store, to make sure it's not to heavy for you. The Fox is good for city and light off-road use. Otherwise, there are a few 3-wheeled models that might work for you as well, if you're ok with a non-reversible seat after 8 months (when a car-seat fitting becomes too small). Since you live in Sweden, I'm thinking Thule.

Hello, I recently purchased the bugaboo fox and immediately I noticed it was making a noise in the frame, coming from one of the two white turn knobs when you want to fold it back open. Bugaboo replies that this noise was normal, sounding like a loose spring. Have you noticed this problem on the stroller too? I’m still on time to return it and even though they say it’s normal I’m not sure if it is. I’d appreciate if you could reply :)
@BarnevognverkstedNo5 жыл бұрын
If it sounds like loose parts, I would definitely take it back. The fox has a hyper-complex plastic mechanism with a lot of springs and any sort of misalignment big enough to make a noticable sound might lead to damage in the future :)
@doblefeaV5 жыл бұрын
The Stroller Workshop I’ve actually had someone who had the same problem recommend me to spray it with a lot of silicone spray, it solved the problem to them. Do you think this is a good idea, can silicone spray damage these complex mechanisms?
@BarnevognverkstedNo5 жыл бұрын
No, Silicon spray is the correct lubricant for these parts, it should help the mechanisms function more smoothly provided the mechanism is otherwise in order. The only consideration might be that, if it doesn't fix your problem, I don't know whether this might affect your ability to return the stroller. :)
@doblefeaV5 жыл бұрын
The Stroller Workshop the return/warranty was exactly my concern. I think I might just ask bugaboo if this is a problem with the warranty. Thanks so much for your advice. Your videos are great by the way, very informative and helpful!

Good video and nice details, but what I don't agree with is the material of the kanapee. You are saying it is not that nice quality but you are forgetting the fact that the material they use is made out of old PET plastic bottles. Good for the environment :)

I dont understand why they didnt swich out the cameleon with this instead of the buffalo. Compared to the cameleon, Id say its an improvement on just about everything. Compare it to the buffalo and it falls short.

I have a fox and the folding mechanism broke after 3 weeks of use, i had a warranty replacment and the same has happened...i will be asking for a refund....does the donkey have the same issues?? Or should I not get a bugaboo at all.
@BarnevognverkstedNo4 жыл бұрын
The Donkey is sturdier in relation to this mechanism, but has several other points that are weaker, unfortunately. I would go for a different brand, something a bit more robust (some examples being: Babyjogger, Joolz, Uppababy).
@mahmut1234566 жыл бұрын
Would you recommend this stroller to people who look for a little sturdier version of the Chameleon or are there better alternatives out there also for that?
@BarnevognverkstedNo6 жыл бұрын
Yes, absolutely. If you don't want something as large as the Buffalo or the Stokke Trailz, then this is definitely an improvement on the Cameleon. There are a few other strollers out there in the same class from other manufacturers, but for its weight / size, this is definitely a top contender on the market. This video was meant mainly as a critique of their design-direction in relation to the previous Buffalo model, not as a complete rejection of the stroller itself. In general, we have nothing but the utmost respect for Bugaboo and what they do.
