On the second example, I hold a deuce and two suited cards if they are consecutive with the higher card at least a 7. Which means that on the hand shown, 9h, 7h, 2, Js. Ac, I would just hold the deuce. This appears to be the strategy recommended on the Wizard of Odds site.

Here's a good way of explaining the 4 to a royal hand with a deuce. There are 47 remaining cards in the deck, 1 makes the royal 46 do not. The wild royal pays 125. The natural royal pays 4,000. Since the payout for the natural royal is less than 46 times the wild royal payout (5,750) , you should keep the wild royal. If there were some kind of progressive jackpot for the natural royal and it was above 5750 coins you should go for it, but not for the standard 4,000 payout.

A few vids on Dueces...u on a Dueces kick?! 😁 Its the variant I enjoy most often....[I] would hav deviated and dropped the Duece had I been dealt "4 to a..." at only 100/125 credits and the few occasions of being dealt 4 to a royal, (to me) it's worth the risk....good stuff Mike!👍

A good idea for video would be some changes that need to be made from job to bonus to double bonus etc. And do something like that for each.

@@madamkirk Thank you for your comment and question. I have confirmed seeing this variant on a bartop machine at one of my locals. It’s relatively new. I do not know the strategy for this one, though I can imagine what some of the strategy adjustments could be. I will put this in queue for a future video, which I will make once I have more info. 👍

@@tracylareau6493 Most versions of Joker Poker require a minimum of a pair of kings to win anything. There are also others that require a pair of aces or two pair.
