This was great Bonny! I never get to catch the lives, hopefully will one day 🙄🤞 just finished my first paid commission ( thanks to the support of my fellow igniters & you of course!) The ref photo was pretty grim, so could barely see much detail. Happy to say, I did just what you’ve been talking about, & concentrated on the values mostly, & I’m quite chuffed with the outcome…….so you must have got in my head somewhere along the line lol. Still can’t believe I got paid!……would NEVER have had the confidence before joining the Ignite academy…..so a massive thank you! 🙏😅

Morena Bonny, having watched a few videos ive always wanted to know do budding artists draw from printed photos or from lap tops ect, its very expensive here in nz to get photos printed, its cost me an arm and a leg, but it is easy just to tape the photo to my board and go for it, i just dont know how it goes, like where's the room for a lap top, i would just like a less expensive way to proceed, probably sounds like a stupid question but you dont see alot or any set-ups on video, cheers, Robbie.

Hi Robbie, it's personal preference. I have the photo on my iPad which I attach to the top of my drawing board with a gooseneck holder 🥰

My limiting belief is that I should do other stuff that is more urgent than drawing, like grooming the dogs, washing the dishes etc...
