Hey Chris, what would you say is the biggest difference between investing in ETFs for your retirement vs. contributing to your super?

Hi Duncan, the main difference would be the tax treatment of income and capital returns which differ between super/non super. There is beneficial treatment within super. However, lower tax within super needs to be balanced with not being able to access that money potentially for decades.

@@ChrisBryckiStockspot Doesn't your super contribution give a large tax advantage when you make a pre tax contribution (15% against say 45%)? A pre tax investment of $100 in super would give you an immediate return of $130 - hard to go past that.
