I'm new to Pickleball, having played only 5-6 months. I've learned many things from Tyler and the pickleball yogi, that have helped me to get to the intermediate level. No doubt, I make many mistakes, but this channel more than any other helps me to continually improve my game. My biggest problem is that I'm in Cuenca, Ecuador and we don't only have two places to play, and only during specific hours due to having to set up and store away the nets. However, your online instruction is absolutely the best. I try to remember at least one tip to work on every session, Thanks Universal Rackets! By the way, there is a large pickleball following in Ecuador, and we have a blast every day that we can play! Thanks for these 3 tips. - 1. Keep your eye on the ball, through the shot. 2. Stay low.... 3 Don't make any unnecessary movements (water glass on head). Thanks from Cuenca, Ecuador!

Tyler your tutorials are amazing. I especially like the half hour ones where every thing can be put in context. I only watch your PB videos now. I have yet to find your tennis videos. I play soft-tennis too and have searched for but yet to find the tennis ones. Best of luck in building your business. Pity you are so far away in USA. I am in Wales.

I have a question about the third tip. For the third shot drop we sometimes need to use the leg to lift the ball over the net. This will result in raising the head in the process of hiiting the ball. Does that violate rule number three?
@universalrackets
@universalrackets 2 ай бұрын
Yes use your legs but still try to keep head down! Hope that makes sense! Too many players are inconsistent b/c they use legs AND pop up. When you should use legs and stay down

True, he said something that “you have never heard on the internet” I’ve never heard someone say “twice as better”. Learn the language. Also coaching, teaching, training, to constantly say “I want you to”……..If you want to be effective, talk about what they want, not what you want. I try to give thumbs up for everything Pickelball, just to support the sport, and encourage the content providers. Can’t do it this time. I’ve heard those three tips many times, and I’m probably a 3.5 or 4 player. Over-hyping your videos (click bait) will eventually cause you to loose viewers. Work on good content, a lot of people appreciate godpod communication skills. That coach talk abuse of the language was funny on the TV show “Coach” but not so much with intelligent Pickelball players.

These tips are not very good. One example is staying low all the time will get you in trouble if the opponents lob you.
