Good and easy explanation for the drive top spin and top spin lob serves! Thanks!

Very good lesson. I've been working on my two-ee for about 3 months and have been inconsistent with the topspin dink. Now I can go out and try this and see if I can improve. Thanks much!

I always played the return of spin shots by letting the ball bounce and wait for the spin to happen. Then hit after the spin happens, anticipating the spin direction. In other words bounce, spin, then react to the spin, knowing how it is going to bounce. I will try hitting BEFORE the spin. Thx.

the bad drop: it hits when the ball is going up the axis. the good drop: it hits when it starts to come down from its highest point of bounce.

Best thing I’ve seen to date. No one on KZbin when teaching the forehand ever mentions DROP the the head of the paddle down. Completely a game changer! You teach the mechanics brilliantly.

Proper footwork at the kitchen is not putting one leg in front of the other on a short bounce. You'll never get back to a balanced ready position that way. A proper "crab" walk as you call it always has your outside foot moving in the direction of the ball. You're also taking your shoulders and turning them away from the net and the player across from you. Watch Cincola's videos on footwork, you'll see exactly what a professional coach and player does with his side steps.
