You can also mix arrow storm with sonar arrow, to get a sonar arrow that reaches different angles

Great tips actually. Every time I play Hanzo I try to aim like he is a hitscan which is why my accuracy is like 2% lol

Soldier has a voice cue where he says “Don’t aim where they are. Aim where they’re going.” Keep that in mind when you play Hanzo. As you begin to play him, don’t be ashamed of hitting body shots. There’s nothing wrong with hitting 2 body shots vs 1 headshot. Make sure you play midrange or long range and if you get dove, use your lunge and wall climbing abilities to create as much distance and call for help so your tank and/or supports know you’re in trouble.

Playing the new hanzo arcade mode I shoot a random arrow before peaking just for the heck of it. You can aim with hanzo but there's no downside from shooting a random arrow every now and then

Tip 4: every time you shoot an arrow, flip a coin, if the coin hits heads, you will hit the shot, if tails, you will not, this is hanzo 101

The biggest tip to prevent the first 3 deaths is to have better positioning and be aware of your surroundings. Doesn't matter how good you are at predicting or how much hanzo tech you know if you are out of position and don't know where enemies are.

I see a lot of people saying they didn't know about the third one. That's because the last one is a new ability storm arrows for for OW2 that even I didn't know, and I've been playing the game for years, and they didn't do that in OW1. So don't feel bad if you didn't know it, it is a very new thing.

I think something that didn’t change with hanzo was the fact that his projectile was nerfed except it didn’t carry over to storm arrow so it still has the same speed as old arrow

Another tip. You can use storm arrows and the sonic arrow at the same time. If you fired it the sonic arrow would ricochete like a regular storm arrow.

As someone with 120 hours on hanzo these are all valid tips. The waiting for them to cross by is very true, but also training aim for when you get flanked is also necessary. Picking good off angles, using your sonic arrows selectively while peeking or sneaking up on someone. Always sonic before you ult unless it's a choke point and you're certain they're all there. Also good gamesense is vital, knowing where the megas and minis are, where people will flank from or the whereabouts of the backline

Sonar arrows do more dmg and get stuck on shield, if they deactivate the shield while the arrow is still in the arrow will fall and deal dmg if someone walk on it while it falls
