This year I will master sentence structure of long sentences. It helps to watch different interpreters because everyone interprets at a different pace and I need to keep up!

I was brought up with deaf parents. Signed all my life. Now they are. Both gone home. I have not Signed in 3 years . I wTch you and trying g to remember all the signs. Going to refresh my self

@@kellysnyclife663languages are like muscles. If you don’t use them, you lose them. It may be easier to relearn in the future, but if you don’t use them often enough, you’ll lose them eventually

I actually learned how to sign the whole alphabet, pledge of allegiance, 1-20 numbers, 10 common phrases, and some extras in *literally one day* TIP: we all learn different but I set a goal for myself and it was really easy for me! I’m new to sign and I’m learning for basic life skills! *YOU GOT THIS!*

These videos are so wonderful. I made a goal to watch a minimum of 3 videos everyday for the month of January. I’ve already learned so many signs since many are overlapped in different videos. It helps a lot and I realize I retained so many as I go.

I bought 500 flash cards from Barnes and noble, and I’m going by alphabet on words I think are most important. Then I started immersing myself into ASL constant and already caught new signs. So it’s a start!

Thankyou Meredith sooo much for this video. I really needed some encouragement and motivation to help me mov forward on my journey of learning ASL. This video made me so motivated, and I feel like I can do it! I really really really love ASL and I really want to be fluent in it. I am trying really hard and practicing everyday. Me and my sibling were at the store today and we were doing some sign language that we knew while walking... a girl looked at us and as soon as she saw what we were doing her face lit up like a Christmas tree.🤍 She started signing things we didn't know what they meant so we had to talk using a phone lol (typing in words we wanted to say to each other...) that made me want to learn sign language even more.😂😅She was smiling so big the entire time we were talking ❤😀😊
