Hi Justin, always enjoy your videos and commentary, I live in South Africa and started a pressure washing business, surface cleaner and 3.5GPM pressure washer, when I purchased the surface cleaner is asked the supplier to supply one that would be suitable for my gasoline machine they supplied me a 20” and said the tips they supply will be good for the surface cleaner, 25015, I did a test run and it cleaned well but I would expect a bit of a lift in order for the s/c to move easily, I also have a machine with a suction hose. When testing I found that it takes about a minute before the water is actual suck from the container, I have now purchased a 1000L container with a fitting on the valve and an inline filter which should supply water to the machine with a better gravity pressure as if the tank is full and a bit higher than the pressure washer it should perform better, looking forward to your reply, Best, Jacques

How does the clean water act affect washing with Chems?
@austinjohnson1592 жыл бұрын
Everyone that uses “chemicals” aka bleach is in violation of the clean water act if they don’t reclaim the water and dispose of it properly

@@austinjohnson159 I finally got ahold of my local environmental departments and was able to clarify the specifics. I find it interesting that these guys aren’t showing how they are doing it, if they are.

@@austinjohnson159 I finally got ahold of someone locally to me, as long as it doesn’t go into the storm drains you can use chems. The ground will be a filter to the water ways. My company won’t be using chems in concrete, unless we absolutely have to. And then we will gather the water up and dispose of it properly.

Here's one. If you get a 4gpm or higher, of there enough pressure coming from someone's home to do a job or do you have to have a tank and a full setup as such? I currently have a 3.5 GPM 3800 PSI DeWalt which only allows me to have a 16-in surface cleaner. My jobs DO take forever and they're starting to realize that the gpms are part of the problem plus I don't have a setup on a truck. What are your thoughts?

I’m looking to start up on a low budget and invest back into it over time. I’m starting with a champion pressure washer I believe off the top of my head it 2500psi and 2.3 gpm. I was planning on buying a cheap $100 16” surface cleaner. What’s your opinion? Also at the moment I will be setting up on my 96 ranger no trailer with no water tank. Will customers not like me hooking to their water? In the long run I’d like to invest in a trailer with a tank and a bigger truck.
@warriorofgodfitness4882 жыл бұрын
Also when you first started did you have a license and insurance? I have experience cleaning with the construction company I work for but this will be a small side hustle at first on a tight budget.
