I appreciate your thorough evaluation of the three machines you consider the best juicer options for 2022. You don't ask us to believe your opinion on a subject: you show us. You're not coming from, "I'm an established authority on this subject, so accept as gospel what I have to say," but take the time and effort to DEMONSTRATE why you hold a particular opinion. Thank you.

Very easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 disassemble and wash. I had a juicer before and remember how much work was to wash it and how little juice I got for this. So, I was sceptical and that's why I did a good amount of research so I don't get disappointed again. So, I picked the Hamilton-Beach 67608A model and I am glad I did. Now, this is a totally different experience! It is powerful and squeezes every ounce of juice so the pulp is almost dry. It's simple and easy to take it apart for washing. I put a plastic bag in the waste container for less cleaning. I am glad I picked this model as it is smaller in size, but delivers the same power as the larger one.

So far, I haven't needed to use a sieve for anything I have juiced in the Nama J2. I taste very little pulp in the juice. It's just smooth with the right amount of particulate. J2 is just awesome and I can't say enough good things about it.

A few years ago I watched every one of your videos John... but as I got a very good Omega juicer (NC 800 HDS) by watching your videos I have not had to buy another one... I have really put mine through literally hundreds of hours of juicing over several years and it is still perfect. Still, today my friend wanted to know what juicer to buy and I had to look your recent videos to send to him. I have always appreciated your videos and how thorough you are in explaining every detail. Thank you so much! ...

Summary of Juicing 1275 grams of celery & pineapple DynaPro DPS-2250 with Alexa's nut milk bag made ~1100 ml of juice Sana 727 - 925 ml Nama J2 - 870-875ml Just because one juicer made more juice doesn't necessarily mean it is "best" unless yield is your #1 priority. Please watch the video to learn about the nuances of each machine.

So impressed by the Dynapro. I had no idea this was even possible. But really love my Vitamix Ascent and have no need for another blender. The ability to add a good processing too is awesome. I really hope Vitamix comes out with their own vacuum seal top and called their customer service to tell them so. Their accessories are so unbelievably expensive, but the quality makes it worth it.

Thank you, John, for describing each of the juicers and blender. I'll be getting what I choose from you as I really appreciate all these videos and you trying to present things as objectively as possible. I think I'm leaning more towards the Sana 727, but the price between the vacuum blender and the Sana are about the same without extra stuff. Easy clean is a huge thing for me, so the easier it is, the better.

He made a video kzbin.info/www/bejne/jJOuZGCtlq6MhKs (vacuum blender storage hacks + troubleshooting tips) addressing that problem by using a battery adapter that plugs into your power source instead of using batteries (or even rechargeable ones). The pump runs at full speed all the time instead of only when the batteries have high "juice". It's really cool and I ordered the same.

an idea for improvement: when tasting it would be also interesting to know what the consistency of the juices are ("thick" vs. "fluid"). and I guess the darker color of the dynamopro juice was due to the "freshness" of the juice. the juice particles hadn't enough time to fall to the ground. maybe you can stir up the glasses next time. great comparison, thank you! keep up the good work!

I was convinced I would buy the J2 but I'm put off by the two year parts warranty. With every use you must disassemble the entire top section wash all the parts, then reassemble. So all of the parts that you handle the most, are the very parts that have the least warranty and are the most likely to break. On top of this I sent an email to the company inquiring about parts and service and basically got a non-answer, directing me to their FAQ section. They did say that at the current time they have no parts in stock. So if I break something I'm just going to have to wait until they get here on that slow boat from Korea. If the Sana had an easier feed process I would pay the little extra for it in a heartbeat. For now I'm still a bit conflicted. Appreciate and thank you for your work, John.

Same boat but the idea of being able to just set it and forget it is really appealing. I think any company should build something to last. If its built to last they should have a big warranty. Why I steer away from Breville. I want to buy something to last not be backed for only 1 year. I get the sense though that Discount Juicers would help out though no? Worth asking them if they would help if there is ever a problem if you buy from them.

@@georgewhite7089 I've been talking to John and he's been helping me tremendously. In one part of a communication regarding just this issue he has indicated that a few people have had parts break and Nama has replaced them. Of course, the bit about them possibly replacing the top parts after 2 years that they have given verbal indication of is not backed in writing but if anyone could get them to follow through on that it would be John. He's already said it publicly on video that Nama has told him this so it they don't follow through he is going to tell people that too and they'll look bad. He did tell me they are in the process of making some sort of improvement to a couple parts that have broken for some people so those should also be stronger - hopefully in the near future. But I doubt it will take them 2 years to improve those and we'd be covered at least through then. I'm definitely getting a juicer from John because he will make life easier if something does go wrong - regardless of what juicer is gotten. Plus his videos are superior and so helpful. He's saved me a lot of time since I found his channel.

Didn’t care to clean the Nama. Nama is nice for bulk juicing but fruits and veggies stuck to sides and had to scrape/push down. This is just my opinion/experience.

@discountjuicers
@discountjuicers 2 жыл бұрын
The VRT350 is still a good juicer. The Nama J2 raises the bar primarily because it makes the process easier, although may make a little more yield and put less pulp in the juice. I would say the juice is of similar quality as your VRT350, so unless you are a millionaire or want the latest and greatest save your money on the J2. That being said, as I show in this episode, Vacuum blending is superior method to make juice. Also the Sana 727 does a better job at grinding than vertical juicers to make a higher quality juice as well.

Hi John. I’ve been a vegan off and on for 30 years since I was 14. I just turned 44. In the last couple months moving to a fully raw diet. After losing 50 lbs from making some modifications like cutting alcohol and cleaning up my diet. (I was eating a lot of refined sugar and foods with added carbs and sugars. Eating vegan doesn’t mean it’s healthy!!!) I’m also starting to grow my own food. I live across the street from a gas station so probably growing my root veggies in containers is best, on my property. I already have sunflowers taller than me, planted in September, corn and one pepper. Ha. So fun. I have a ways to go to get where I’d like to be in terms of growing my own food. So Whole Foods and my local organic Fruit Stand is what I’m living off for now. Can I make nut milk in the Sana 727? I need a new blender as well. I have a cheap little blender from Walmart. My juicer is pretty old. It wastes alot of plant juice and the blade is wearing out. But, I’m a cheap bitch!!! I don’t like spending a lot of money on things if I don’t need to. So that’s why I’m watching your videos!!! Thanks so much. You’re very honest and I appreciate it. 😅🖤🖤🖤

so you can squeeze the pulp from any (cheap) juicer now with these bags. In case you like the taste of your hands. Why dont we use a press? I tried to squeeze blended cherries once in a bag (sorta fine cheesecloth-like curtain) and it was a mess. I used it as a screen and washing it was almost impossible. It's not for me. It's a smoothie. They were fermented cherries actally. It was like a jam. Everything comes through once it's soft enough. Imagine squeezing ripe apricots or avocado.

@discountjuicers 2 жыл бұрын
The green star can make a good amount of foam when juicing straight greens. If you put in a 1/2 stalk of kale then a carrot and repeat until your done, it will reduce the foam being generated. Unless your unhappy with the Green Star I would not get a different machine, personally.

What is the BEST PULP-FREE horizontal slow juicer for fruits? I like my juice watery 🙂
@ChristineNavarroTV
@ChristineNavarroTV 2 жыл бұрын
Vertical juicers are much better for fruit due to gravitational pull, as the pulp and juice in watery produce tends to get stuck in horizontal juicers. Horizontal juicers overall are not recommended for watery produce.

Great video John. I already have my beloved vitamix so I don’t need another blender but I need a juicer. I loved your demonstration but I am still undecided…. Maybe the Nama

John, I have a really old kitchenaid blender 1999 that has a button for chop, stir, mix, puree and liquefy. It consists of a screw on bottom, blade, rubber ring gasket, blade attachment, glass jar, then the top is a flexible tight fitted airtight suction lid with a plastic measuring cap/feeding hole that twists into place. My question is: If the lid mashes the air out when I push it on, is that a vaccum? I have been doing Celery juice lately on liquefy setting, and it comes out green with no brown, with a tiny bit of foam...?

No, unfortunately. The vacuum blenders (or attachments) suck out the oxygen that is sitting in the container. With any traditional, non-vacuum blenders (including expensive Vitamix, Blendtec, and commercial grade blenders), even if you get a full seal, there’s still air sitting inside the container, which aerates and denatures the contents you’re blending.

I had no idea about leaving the tab open in J2 we have been closing it thinking it was probably helping to juice more since it was going around and around 😅 it does look cool though 😂

I have been trying to understand why people keep the cap closed while juicing and I bet John has also been wondering. I think you're comment explains it best. I bet a lot of people do that for the same reason. The reason I never wanted to keep it closed is because I knew that the juice needed to leave the fiber and they separate while juicing. Anyways, thanks for explaining. J2 is awesome, btw.
