At this rate the Toronto Blue Jays are going to be sellers come trade deadline and it's probably the right choice for the team. Blue Jay fans are starting to shift their focus to some players that might make sense for the toronto blue jays to sell, rather than hold onto. With the lackluster performance of the team, here are 3 toronto blue jays players who are likely to be gone come trade deadline unless things improve.

Jesse Barfield, the private hitting coach Vlad had in 2021, was in Toronto this week. This Blue Jays legend would be a top candidate for the Blue Jays hitting coach position, if the team decides to part ways with their current hitting coach.

lol at this team having an offensive explosion. We’ve been waiting for that for over a season. I wouldn’t say “modest rebuild”. I wouldn’t say “total tear down”. But it’d be closer to that than retooling. I’d only want to keep Davis Schneider, varsho, Jansen (extend him), and our top prospects. Everyone else is up for grabs.

Definitely fire Atkins before you start blowing things up. 1/4 of the season done. Jays are 2nd last in the league in runs scored. They were absolutely terrible last season at scoring runs.. so this isn't a small sample size. I hope Tampa sweeps them. Jays offense is extremely hard to watch.

I wouldn't have a problem trading any of those guys myself. My problem is what kind of return we'd get for them with Atkins at the helm. His track record with trades recently hasn't been good, and I don't think it's going to get any better with Kikuchi/Turner/Jansen. Turner is "get a lottery ticket prospect" bait, so I don't think there's much Atkins could do to screw that up. Jansen would be tough to move just because he's a catcher with an injury history, which means that an acquiring team has to hope he learns the pitchers quickly AND doesn't hurt his hands again. That means that teams will likely try to "minimize risk" by offering mid-tier prospects at best. Kikuchi is the wild card here. What could/would we get for him? This feels like David Price in reverse; acquiring team gets a guy that goes on a tear post-deadline and we get scrub prospects who don't pan out in return. Our best hope is if we can find a team that wants to go all in, needs a cavalry, can take on a couple of big contracts (which probably eliminates all of the Bally's/MLB broadcast teams), and will accept a package Jansen with any two of Kikuchi/Gausman/Bassitt/Berrios. The two most likely candidates that I can think of are Boston and the Cubs, and I don't know if they have the kinds of top prospects that would make a deal like this work. At that point, we're full rebuild mode, and I don't see it happening just because of all of the "fan experience"/ballpark renovations and the desire to squeeze more money from people.

Please, no trades til after Atkins is fired. If Atkins is in charge we will get nothing good in return. He is only capable of making it worse. Get rid of management and get in people who know how to make and motivate a team. As long as the three at the top are in place this team will never improve.

They have to bring up Luke's send Springer to the Minors to work on Batting. Losing streak has 1 thing in common is 0fer Springe. Maybe a stint in the minors will allow him to work on his swing.

Jays ofence has trended down for 3 seasons now and Guillermo Martinez is still the hitting coach. If they are going to start shipping out big name players they better send Martinez packing before he ruins the new guys coming in as well.

It's very difficult to put together a good starting rotation. Toronto manages to put one of the best rotations together but fails to put the run support behind them. That is all on management. That said, we must get something for Kikuchi. KK, vogalbach, Turner, and springer must go. Bring up the young guys and see what you got. Do better in the off-season.

I just finished doing an in-depth analysis of the past 30 days for the Toronto Blue Jays if I was General Manager I would start with a pitching I would trade Romano to Baltimore for their top catching prospect and other pieces or possibly packaged him with George Springer that would be a win-win if we could get out of Springer's salary somehow even if we have to pay Springer to play for somebody else we should get rid of them he's killing us. Vogelback, Turner. Biggio, Kirk, that gets rid of six roster spots bring up Horowitz Martinez Luke's I think this team could turn us around Save the Blue Jays money there's not going to be a turnaround for Springer on the 26th man are ads should be number one a relief picture two a good backup catcher and a prospect catcher bring up Joey Votto

Get rid of IKF and the old ginger Turner. Bring up Barger and Martinez . If they're going to hit the reset button then they need a new G.M. and manager and coaches first. Then they can clean house at the trade deadline.

trade for Canadian talent like Tyler Black or Owen Caissie and sign Tyler O'Neill next year. Hire DeMarlo Hale as manager and ask if John Gibbons will come back as bench coach next year. also 1 big 1 "Fire Ross Atkins" before this all happens

Vogelbach GOES FIRST. LIKE NOW!!!!!! Kikuchi is dealing so sell Manoah to lengthen his contract. Manoah is still valuable to any team wishing to rebuild. Springer needs to go. Kirk is great and has value. but he cant run and clogs bases for us. Why keep him. Turner has value so trade while we can . I hate to say it but Biggio deserves a full time job somewhere else and has some value. Those are all guys we can get money for and it wont hurt us in any way. Then there is Guerrero .Guerrero is a toss up but his name and backstory sells bling so until they get another guy to sell to the fans, Rogers will keep him. Mayza goes and Swanson. Yimi deserves a good contract with us. He has saved our asses many times. IMO.

We need to STOP talking like there’s hope. It’s over. The competitive window is over. What do we think is gonna happen? THIS team is gonna go on a tear? Lololol. And even if they do, so what! Maybe they grab the last wild card spot and then enter a playoffs that includes the orioles and Yankees. White flag, everybody. White flag. This is a liquidation sale. Nobody is off limits. I mean, I think we should try to keep Davis Schneider, varsho, and our top prospects. I think it’d also be good to try to extend Jansen as he would be a bridge to our next competitive window that, if we do this right, maybe could start to open again as soon as 2026. But this?! No. It’s over. No more “they could still turn it around”. Stop giving the kids false hope. It’s time for something between a tear down and a retooling - 80 percent tear down, 20 percent retooling.
