All three of these stories were fascinating. The second story about Jerimiah was the standout. The idea of growing up interacting with a friend and then finding out that person never existed, is disturbing. If not for the list I would seriously question my sanity. Thank you, Avery, for another trio of spooky stories.

Back in 2001 I broke down in Oklahoma, I'm not from there. Was walking i walked for over three hours. Lost and not knowing where i was. I had walked into a very small town no stores no park nothing. I had blisters on my feet from the humidity. I really needed a rest. All that I could find was a small cemetery on a hill. So i sit down by the fence. Slowly i drifted off to sleep. Not on purpose. That was when I could hear a old man's voice, he said. "There's no sleeping in the cemetery!" I jumped up on to my feet, looking around to find the guy. There was no one around. No where where anyone could hide. So i sit back down, it happened again he said, "i said there's no sleeping in the cemetery!" He started to laugh! I jumped up again walking all around the cemetery. There was no one around. After that I left went back to the highway, sitting down by the curb. Not five minutes later someone stopped to give me a ride. I think the old guy sent me some help. He must of been the caretaker when he was alive.

Oh my, that is SO spooky! I love that. Sounds like you definitely had someone watching out for you 👻 did you ever look into that cemetery? Would be interesting if others have seen or heard him too!

@@AveryAfterDark that was ten miles east of Chickasha Oklahoma. I stayed there for about a month and a half. I'm a skilled construction worker carpenter. Got a job right away. Unfortunately that wasn't a very welcoming place. Some of the locals didn't like outsiders! I was trying to make enough money to get my car fixed. I had a 1976 280 zx. There was a couple who were threatening me. So instead of fixing my car I decided to go back home to Eastern Colorado. I hope whoever got my car enjoyed it! It had T top's! Never go to Oklahoma, and don't buy a Nissan! Also I never looked anything up on that. I can't even remember the name of the small town that the cemetery was in. All I can tell you is that it was ten miles west of chickasha. Totally backwards place back then. But hopefully things have changed in the last 20 + years! You are more than welcome to use that if you want.

Honestly, anytime I hear a cop tell a store like the last one it always scares me way more. It's because cops see A LOT of insane things and you know he had to logically weigh out what he was hearing in his head and still noped out of there. That's enough for me.

The grandpa story number 2 could be like the movie ( A Beautiful Mind ) Russell Crowe and they may have been friends his whole life but only in his mind or He was a spirit of the family like the lady ( mother ) he asked when will he be home and she said she never had a son . What if she lost a baby during pregnancy and he was the spirit of the son who was suppose to grow up as his friend or he was in on a government experiment and his friend was erased from his family life , like the Jim Carrey movie where his memories where erased .

Hi Avery, I listen all the stories and they are all creepy, but the third one is terrifying, surely the officer never returned to that house again. but, your voice is definitely the main thing, I close my eyes and I really enjoy it. It would be interesting if you could tell about the Dyatlov Pass incident, a very chilling and misterious event in the Ural Mountains in the 1950s.

Reference to first story.. As far as real or imagined. I'll take real. Mom and older sister on different occasions and locations had orange wolfs viciously barking at them... and disappear. NO hootch involved.. lol, I. Nuthin on the second story... 3rd story. If you're familiar with St Louis around Litzsinger and Warson I was troubleshooting an outage. When I got back to the truck and past the outside rear view mirror there was a pretty rough looking guy in the mirror, spiny, bristly long narrow face and black holes in his nostrils and eye sockets and gaping mouth. behind me and when I turned around, no one was there. I had a few incidents like that in different areas while working midnights and patrolling for outages.
