I only would do that if there was a person out there who was frozen solid. Then I'd inform EMS and the police. God knows how many creeps take advantage of other people's kindness? It's just not worth it, which is so sad because there ARE decent people out there who need help. Unfortunately, I can't trust anyone because I really don't want to end up dead because of my kindness. It's a really tough call. 😥😖🌨

In the situation in the first story, it would be good to have a concealed carry firearm and keep your eye on him until you are back in the car since you got the bad vibe from him. That way you can defend yourself if he attacks or just point the gun to scare him off, but if he doesn't, you can drive away safely.

The "victims" in all three of these videos - something about them really rubbed me up the wrong way about them; The first one - handing a bag over to a complete stranger and then walking away from the building you were SUPPOSED to deliver it to - no confirmation that it was ever actually delivered properly (AFTER already being paid for) once. The second one - his eyes were too close together - always a dodgy sign about someone. The third one - what would you do if you were told you couldn't get warm and were desperately waiting for ANY chance at staying warm - sit perfectly still away from the door while the householder may have been taking their time to receive a coat even so you can get the tiniest bit of warmth (in more ways than one)?? Then hear the police being called on you while you weren't _quite_ as self conscious about your demeanor??? The poor man might've picked up on something dodgy about the householder may have been the case in my opinion. Never had one of these videos where ALL the "victims" were hated as much as they were as this one. That's exceptional.

@@Nick-Emery no I'm not, but I've been to Land's End, seen and spent time with the Land's End cat, been to Boscastle, St. Ives, and Truro. I also know (knew) someone from Cornwall about 8 or 10 years ago. Is the "close eyes" thing a Cornish genetic trait or something? :)

I moved to Cornwall from Birmingham around 8 years ago and had never heard that saying before… but the Cornish always use that phrase about ‘don’t trust them, their eyes are too close together’. I just wondered if it was a saying that was local to Cornwall.

@@Nick-Emery oh - no idea! 😂 Just my experience of life really. They seem much more predatory, than those with eyes at a more "balanced" (or even "spaced out") distance. Of course I could be talking complete rubbish, but something tells me those two men "picked up" on something about the guy. I think you made the right choice leaving the West Midlands - Cornwall's heaven compared to Birmingham/Dudley etc.

You can not blame the third person. That kind of naïveté is what gets ppl killed or put in dangerous situations. Yeah he was out in the cold but he also could be putting your life in danger, it’s not worth the risk. Can’t blame someone for taking caution for and trying to protect his life.
