Excellent video I have ever come across. I have always had a guilt of not using the coffee powder in a proper method. Tried this one and I am spellbound. Fridge ல் வைத்து கொண்டால் காஃபி தயார் செய்யும் போது மட்டும் டிக்காக்ஷன் எடுத்து கொண்டு மீதியை ஃப்ரிட்ஜ் ல் வைத்தால் 3 நாட்கள் வரை காஃபி கலக்கலாம்.

It depends on coffee powder you are using.. If you go for 60:40 decotion will be thick after 3rd time... If 80:20 decotion will be lite in second time

இல்லவே இல்லை.80:20 அளவில் தான் காபி பொடி கலந்து டிக்காக்ஷன் போட்டு காண்பித்தேன்.60:40 என்பது மிக மோசமான காபி.அவ்வளவு சிக்கரி சேர்க்க கூடாது.நாங்கள் காப்பித்தூள் அரைக்கும் போது காபி கொட்டையை கொஞ்சம் கூடுதலாக வறுக்க சொல்வோம்.

I use 300 gm cothas coffee powder and 100 gm green label coffee powder(it consists of both coffee and chicory). Filter coffee will be tasty

After filling காப்பி powder you can add little sugar sprinkle over coffee powder. Then hot boiled water fill slowly at the brim of filter. Milk after heating with mixing with foam okay. But I have experience the taste will differ by following: 1. If you pour coffee decaction,then add sugar and milk one taste. 2. If you put sugar, coffee decaction and add milk gives another taste. 3. If you pour required milk, then pour coffee decaction and add sugar gives another taste. 4. If you pour milk then require sugar and add coffee decaction gives another taste. Best way is point number 2 mentioned above and after mixing with help of davara and tumbler there will be foam then add instant coffee power with little hot water mix, very little if you pour and serve is the best coffee

You have not used the plunger which is part of the filter. This plunger is important to tamp the powder down evenly in the filter and prevent concentrated pouring of water into the powder. Also you have ignored the selection of Pea berry and Plantation A coffee mixture ratios to get the perfect combination of powder. Traditional South Indian filter coffee is very tricky and difficult to get perfection.

I make the coffee decotion exactly the same way as said by you, Mam.That was my mother's teaching. Also, we at home extract the 4th & 5th decotion and mix it together & use it instead of hot water for the the first decotion. We heat the mix of decotion using the double boil method & use it for the extraction of the first decotion.. The flavour is even better than the usual...

Chicory இல்லாமல் டிக்காக்ஷன் தயாரித்தால் காஃபி பொடி ஃபில்டர் இல் அதிக அளவு சேர்க்க வேண்டும்.நன்றாக press செய்ய வேண்டும்.குறைந்த அளவு தண்ணீர் ஊற்ற வேண்டும்.அப்போதுதான் திக் ஆக டிக்காக்ஷன் கிடைக்கும்.
