This will be perfect for prepping small patches before reseeding. Looks a great tool.

it's a lot of work on a lawn like this, but like you say on small patches, or old ant hills, it's perfect. thanx for watching

I use one of these when trying to get scarifying jobs. Means I can get it out and do a small sample to show what can come out. Nice vid fella

That was great. I've not seen one of those in action and very impressed. I have been building up my Wolf Garten tool collection this year, but don't have one of these as I have a scarifier. But as you say for a small lawn, it is ideal. Virtually silent, no fuel costs and a free work out. Pity you couldn't finish the job due to the lock down, but better to get some of that moss out than none. Enjoy your break, you earned it with this job alone!

I used to use the standard lawn rake to rake out bits of moss, but tried this and not looked back, thanx for watching

@@TKG Yes this seems to keep a more level drag than putting varied pressure on a lawn rake...I will look out for a second had one to try out! Thank you!

G'day from 🇦🇺. May I ask if the Wolf Garten roller scarifier would get rid of white clover in the lawn too? I have one on order and hopefully it’ll be in soon 🤞.
@frankie30412 жыл бұрын
Oh and your comment at 3:53 is the reason why I paid the extra cash and ordered their roller scarifier rather than the rake. 👍

some of it but not all, its designed for moss removal and light thatch removal, no harm in trying

@@TKG Wow. Thanks for the rapid response. Hopefully it’ll be in well before Christmas.

This thing is extremely hard work , if you have any weakness regarding your back DO NOT USE IT , it is lethal , I've been professional gardening for years and trust me be very careful , I did a disc in my back without even trying , and I can dig all day no prob, tbh I think it's to do with standing slightly sideways on so you're twisted while pulling

your right, its really not for large areas, there are two types one with wheels one without, the one without is more aggressive, this lawn was too big really to do by hand.

Thanks for the video. I’m looking to DIY my 15sqm lawn. Do you treat the moss before raking?
@TKG Жыл бұрын
sorry for the late reply, no I didnt treat the moss, I do give the lawns a treatment at the beginning of each season, just to keep on top.
