I've used 2 papers recently that have had both straight across matches and a free match symbols. In that case I asked the client what they preferred and I was asked what was easiest. So free match it was.

so im going to hang anaglypta with squgley lines going vertically- its the random- so I'm def okay to just cut any strip I like and just put it on? no match at all?
