Additionally, the gap is wide enough to actually hook a fish (not always the case with circle hooks). I purchased the 8/0, but probably should have got the 9/0 (they seem slightly smaller than other 8/0 hooks). Additionally, having the point in-line helps if you drift fish. I have yet to get a serious snag with one of these hooks.

I’ve been trying a pack bait, sweet corn, bread crumbs. And red jello mix, with a bait packer. Been 3 days now in a big pond loaded with with huuuge carp, not a single bite

1 cup sweet corn w/can juice, 1 cup instant potato flakes, 1 cup of oatmeal - mix it all up in a large zip lock bag.…also, put 2 or 3 sweet corn Kernels on the actual hook its self. I use a #4 bait holder hook. This works for me for carp. I’ve tried other pack baits and they all suck, lol. Let me know if this helps, peace.

Tento batoh mám a jsem sním spokojený. Nepoužívám ho na ryby, ale na čundry a když někam jedu. Do hlavní komory se vejde dost oblečení a postranní kapsy jsou na ty drobnosti. Termo kapsa udrží pivko i bagetu v chladu. Je to supr bágl nejen na ryby.👍

I've just learnt this in another vid.. It's basically that, because sweetcorn is water based, it takes colours really easily and it's the best (along with bread) to use along with the bottle flavours... Ohhh a tip. If you want to stink out your property and the family.. Use the bright pink krill flavouring.. You'll also have 24hrs of the smell being in your nose and on your fingers no matter what you do... Thanks Dad **who bought it for me when I asked him to get a nice carp flavour the next time he's up at the fishing shop... I'll be making sure I go myself next time... lololol

You shouldn't use corn for bait. The fish that eats it and isn't caught will die. Any fish that eats corn will die.

@@draganf.3928 it is biology. Corn will not digest. A fish is small, even a big one, so when they eat it. It cannot pass from the fish so therefore it constapa them and shortly there after they die being plugged up.

@@israelavilajr9259 Nonsense. Corn is maybe undigestable.but... Example, there is small lake here where I live. Most fiherman is fishing with corn. They use vorn for feed and for bait. It is interesting that there is NO DEAD fish, for years. So, is this carp in that lake something special, or corn we use here is special? Or maybe it is very simple, maybe corn does not kill the fish? And what about all kinds of non-natural food and baits? That is better for fish than corn?

Fish CAN digest corn. Do your research before commenting. Most all carp anglers use corn in their pack or ground bait. All you have to do is a little research.
