oh man to be honest , your video is the best to deal with my solution (not only the parallel compression but also the radio between two tracks), i have watched for several clips, but i didnt get them (,maybe for the language barriers), but your video ,is really helpful. thanks so much!

Wooo. I love the mapping of the two Chanel volumes instead of the a dry wet fader. I’m definitely going to use the return Chanel in my tracks. Great video today! I learned so much.

Great video, at 3mins, do you have to map the two volumes to a macro, cant you just turn the clean signal down in the effects rack and lift the compressed signal up, but essentially you dont need to turn the clean signal down, you could just lift the heavy compressed signal up and then use utility to decrease the output of the entire signal? if that makes any sense lol

Good point, Matt! Absolutely. That's one of the things that I love about working in modern DAWs - - so many ways to achieve the sounds and tones you're after! Thanks for watching!

Nice tutorial. Can u do a tutorial on Michael Brauer multi bus parallel compression technique (Braurezing). There are few videos on KZbin but no one can clear it..

@ankit srivastava, that’s a great idea! I’ll do that. Be looking for that in the near future! What other videos would you like to see? Thanks for watching! Keep creating!

Hi bud, is there any difference between procedure 2 vs 3? What if I just want to apply a paralell compression only in the Kick and Snare by insertion and later a subtle compression for the final mix? I think in that case would be better and organized using the procedure 2 for kick and snare. What do you think?

Are you going to go over the whole song? Id love for you to go over all pieces.

That's a great Idea! This is actually not a full track yet, merely a sketch (more on that in a future video coming soon 😀) But I can certainly run down what I did to build that sketch out! Thanks for the suggestion!

GlennThomas How long have you been making music in DAWs? You seem like a pro!

I appreciate then complement! I started in 1999 with Cakewalk Home Studio 7. And I started in Ableton in 2009 with a few years of garage band in the middle there too. So I’ve done a fair amount of time!
