Dom I'm showing my age now but your Atari T Shirt took me back to 1986 when I first used Cubase (Pro 24) and to see how far it has come is amazing. Vari Audio in its "less abused" form is unbelievably transparent. Thanks for your series of videos - you are helping me, and no doubt many others, get so much more out of Cubase - keep up the great work.

King Dom!!! Best video to date! Every video gets better, more insight by referring to your previous "MIDI" video, etc. Yes, I watch them all! You are awesome at what you do sir. I have a request now that Cubase 11 is about to drop: can you please show how to properly migrate your settings and presets from 10.5 to 11. It's been a painstaking process each time and discourages me to save presets due to the fear of losing them in the next Cubase version. Thanks in advance brother 🙏 💪 🙌

I wish I could sing and play at the same time, whenever I try to do both I mess up. The beauty of midi is that I can cheat, I usually play the melody 1st(pre record it) then sing after (That's how I cheat with the Talkbox too 😅😅). Can u use the modulation wheel in Autotune/Pitch Correct?

Absolutely wonderful, well-presented, infectiously enthusiastic and clear Cubase help you give on your videos, just wanted to say a big thank you (subbed & liked!). I've been using Cubase for years and yet you've made me feel I've hardly stratched the surface, I'm partly embarrassed with myself but also partly excited at discovering these new worlds to explore. I'm essentially a guitar player so I'm not very well versed in midi but you've opened up loads about it already, (although still not sure how to write note bends directly in the midi editor!). Also, I have to say, if intro music to videos was a guide to the talent of the video maker (which in a small way it is) then you'd beat everyone else hands down, that track is freaking awesome; love hearing it when I load you videos. Do you have such music as a full track to listen to? 👍🙂

@DomSigalas4 жыл бұрын
Hi Ed: 1. create an audio track for your vocal 2. Add pitch correct with the setting I explained 3. Create a midi channel 4. Route the out of your midi channel to pitch correct 5. Activate record enable for the midi channel 6. Activate Monitoring (the yellow button) on your vocal channel Done! It’s more complicated to write it than do it trust me :)

@@DomSigalas Thank you Dom! I am also a producer musician. I was signed up with Casablanca Recodes back in the Disco Days. I was with the group Nightlife Unlimited and also lead vocalist on the song LOVE IS IN YOU. This is what i did i added the 2 tracks, 1 midi 1 audio the midi is supposed the control the audio track so now when I play my keyboard live with the mic ,I should get the effect but I don't. So I also plugged the keyboard via midi I'm also connected USB.

Hi Dom , first of all thanks for sharing all you're video's they are very interesting even for beginners like me. Related to this video it would be nice to learn more about the different microphones.
