I want to testify if I may. My siblings & I grew up with an impoverished single mother. My brother is in bad shape, wishing our mother hadn't passed away because he could not support himself at 45 yrs old. I didn't have a father, but at 16, I met my future husband. I do believe God ordained our union. He comes from a hard working blue collar family. He is hardworking, stoic, and a great father. I also grew up as democrat. They told us we could achieve nothing without them. I had never met a republican until I met my husband's family. They told me I wasn't destined to be poor if I worked hard. I had never heard that in my entire life. Praise God for my hard-working man.

Ok I need to write again. When my daughter was about 4, she came to me & said " I want to marry Daddy when I grow up" then I fully understood the power of a good father. I pray to God every day that she will marry a man like her dad. ❤️❤️❤️

This one spoke to me. Me and my wife recently have had a lot of events that have taken place in our lives that proved to us that God is real. We recently got saved and baptized. I will keep watching your videos because they really do help. You are a helping so many people. Thank you.

Us, too. Kind of amazing what's happening in the world. I know people that I used to think of as "The Christians" who are very religious, but I've discovered are apostate and need help. OTOH, I am seeing lots of people around us waking up and getting saved, people I would never have predicted. It was really bizarre when my wife and I started attending our current church. Suddenly, out of nowhere, strangers, co-workers, and old friends started asking us about Jesus - even before we "came out of the closet" as Christians. We were both anxious, saying, "We aren't ready to evangelize to anyone!" But, it turns out that our testimonies have been really helpful to many of these people because they could appreciate how earnest and relatable our stories were. We don't sound like properly trained missionaries, but for some people that's more compelling. Of course, referring folks to channels like this one helped, too.

First off, what I would like to mention is, thank you, pastor Mark, for your sermons. Thank you for being real in this fake world. Second, I would love to be married to a woman, but I've been single my whole life and can't get a woman to even speak to me. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up with a dad. Either way, I hear what you're saying and respect what you have to say and wish I had that life.

Are you in a church? In my experience there are a ton of social events at church and a crazy number of single women. I would join a large church community and get involved in serving if I was you! Make it easy for God to lead that person to you. Hope things work out for you my friend!

GREAT message once again...and yes, BE POLITICAL. Some people don't seem to understand how politics and religion are closely entwined. I don't hate anyone for their views regarding politics or religion. We are called by Christ to love everyone just as He has loved us. But, the views on the left (maybe not all but certainly most) are in direct conflict with the Bible. WOKE IS WRONG. Homosexuality is wrong...promiscuity (homo or hetero...) is wrong. I was guilty of it it like most single men and women of today. I am always working on "me" to better represent God through me, but I'm not perfect and ofter fall short of the glory of God . I also 100% agree with the fatherless home issue. We must do better as men and mentor and father the fatherless. Moms can't teach boys how to be a man. Keep up the GREAT messages Pastor Mark. One day I will make it to your men's group! Good bless ---Preach on brother!!

As a single man 50 yrs old..thats has 2 jobs , spiritually grounded in my faith of christ, physically fit workout 3 to 5 days a week, a track record of toxic women and abusive relationships.. i wanted to marry my ex and take her kids as my own. But she cheated on me and left me because it was Gods will for her to be with him... I want nothing more than to find a good Christian woman and have a family... Young guys be smart and chose women wisely....

I think that we are seeing the bad fruits now from seeds that were planted decades ago. I assumed that my ex husband was from a wonderful family because his parents seemed to be happily married.... I was so wrong. Both of his parents worked and went out with friends while their sons raised themselves or were at daycare/school. He lived with his parents doing whatever he wanted until he was 28 and then I unknowingly was expected to fill the place of enabling his behavior. Many years of him unable to keep a job, obsessed with himself having free time, etc. ruined our marriage. Children need healthy mother and father role models from young on. I was essentially a single mom for many years prior to legally becoming one.

I grew up seeing my dad get up and go to work at 4 a.m., come home late, work weekends, and become the best at what he did. When I was young, I swore I'd never be like him, but his values instilled in me, anyway. Now, at 45, I'm glad that I did become just like him.

Pastor Mark: you say it’s not good to be alone, and this is true in (Genesis 2:18), however, an argument can be made that it is good to be alone, that is without a partner so that your focus is solely on God and godly things, not earthly things as to please your wife. (1 Corinthians 7:32) Also, in that same chapter of the Bible, Paul, the apostle claims that he would prefer that we would like him, (verse 7) and he also says In the same book, we should imitate him as he imitates Christ. (1 Corinthians 11:1) Your thoughts?

I had a father who worked a lot, and he was a decent man. But he never instilled manhood into me or taught me how to be a man. My mom was there for me always and it was almost like I was raised solely by her. I missed out on so much and believe I could have achieved so much more if my dad had been more manly and taught me what men are supposed to do.
