I never realized I held my breath in while playing my fills until this vid. Makes sense. Breathing is very important for everything else, sports etc. Why not drumming. Thank you for bringing up a very important point that most drum instructors ignore to bring up. Love your lessons Brother

I also play timpani and concert percussion and can attest to the breathing thing 100%. Taking breaths along with the movements of the conductor helps especially with big entrances and rubato parts.

Хорошие упражнения с педалью хэта. Тоже люблю заниматься ритмом считая левой ногой четверти, слабые 8е и все 8е.

The hihat on upbeats or downbeats is key for me during a groove OR a fill!!! No need to stop when the fill comes. It also leaves open the possibilities of hihat shoops with the left hand for extra flavor. I see a lot of good drummers on KZbin with chops up the wazoo but their left foot is nothing more than a paperweight. The classic 3 fingered guitarist syndrome. Ouch!

@nenadnenomikicdrums1055 @nenadnenomikicdrums1055 1 second ago You are so thoroughly intelligently presented. And perfect sound. My respect. You will help future drummers a lot. In my opinion, one of the best presentations on KZbin. I wish you the best of luck in your future work. Sorry, I'm using a translator.
