As a beginner, new to your channel, I experienced working with clay some time ago. I had some wonderful success with shino glaze, on thrown porcelain, the glaze of which was not of my own creation, fired in a gas kiln. I found it's variation and lack of predictablility, in reduction, joyously fascinating. I'm thinking it was incorporating elements from other glazes released into the kiln atmosphere at temperature, even vaguely in instances, reminding me of raku effects. Does shino, in your expert experience, qualify as eco conscious as well as suitable for firing in an electric kin at stoneware temperatures? Or am I on the wrong track?
