I found perfect hangers at Bed & Bath & Beyond a few years ago. They were for putting Polaroids on them, I think? I've run out, however, so I think I'll definitely try some of those wire ones, and felt ones for the slippyness. I use a few hot glue dots on my own hangers when they're too slippery XD

My YOSD has those same hangers you printed out just little. They're surprisingly sturdy. She's going to need more once I sew up all the clothes I've cut out for her using your patterns

I'll admit, I like the look of the 3D printed hanger, but the process can be so slooooow... But now I'm wondering if I can adapt/convert the file for use with a laser cutter. My initial thoughts are that I might have to use mat board or acrylic, or strengthen the hook part with superglue if I stick with wood. Or I could cut off the hook and use either the cup hooks like you did with the dowel, or drill a hole at the top and feed a steel wire or twisted aluminum wire through.

I suspect there probably are options for laser cutters out there... I've never looked since I don't have one, but I admit to being tempted sometimes.

Yep, I've got a handful of them that I'm working on polishing up... it's just that I've had some major health setbacks again recently so nothing is happening as fast as I want it to. :(

I've been making wire hangars as I watch TV or KZbin. you can cover them with fabric tape.

That sounds like it could make for some really cute hangers! I was considering colored aluminum wire since it's available in so many shades.
