Too many people don't want to seek beauty. I've been guilty of it too. We indulge our sadness, or even worse, deny it completely with chemicals. Hearing a thoughtful person like Kim put words to a struggle that often confounds makes my heart lighter. 💙 for you Miss.

True you can´t run from yourself one of the best tools you can have is knowing how to be by yourself a lot of people aren´t able to be in piece with themselves without being super occuppied with work or in a never ending stream of relationships, others relly on alcohol or drugs. We can be constantly surrounded by people but ultimately we are alone so we better learn to feel confortable with ourselves.

Yes, I clicked on this video for a reason, I knew it would be a beautiful video in every way. I was in awe the entire time. Thank you so much. I have a location that looks similar enough to that place not too near, but not too far, and I was mountain biking through it a couple of weekends ago and I used to live near there, so I used to visit that place so often (nearly daily) and it was fantastic to find the little hidden areas I would spend time reading at. All the surrounding highways and roads are blocked by view and distance and it's one of the quietest parts of the area. This video made me long for it. Where I'm at now, when I go out into the wilderness on my own, it's quite noisy, so it's a little more difficult to get the aloneness and spirituality of the place. Not impossible, but not easy.

Resonated surprisingly well with me, and I feel like Iʻve come to much the same conclusions about how to change my perception on things, and its made me more aware of the way I can react to stuff, and for that, I feel more capable. Itʻs nice to hear the same thoughts work for others too. Do you practice parkour or yoga? Iʻve found that both are like physical meditations that often carry over into my everyday life, and the confidence you mentioned sounds much like the feeling I get when i train/focus. ANYWAY great video! Youʻve got quality words to say, cheers.

Thanks, as always, for sharing your wisdom, your heart, and your journey with us. Very sound points here, none more important than relying upon yourself for your own healing. Healing from pain is hard - and it tends to not last if you try to heal for someone else or due to someone else's need or desire. You have to change, and grow, and heal, for yourself. Listen to your own heart, your own mind, your own soul. Take responsibility for yourself. Kim, you have recently been to some of the most beautiful and intriguing places on this earth. But you are very right - the beauty and power of nature is everywhere; you only have to open your eyes and pay attention to it. It is powerful and cleansing. Love this video. xo

Hey Kim, thank you for the video :) I listened to it earlier just to relax while I was doing something else, but something happened today, and it really shattered me. I'm feeling awful, bad thoughts leading to other bad thoughts and so on. And I have no one to turn to. So I went back to this video, and it helped, especially the third part to be honest. I've never been so much of a nature guy, I do enjoy walks in the forest and such things, but not alone, it makes me even lonelier, it depends on the person I guess, but it does for me. I wish I could talk to someone, but you being there in your videos also helps a lot. Thank you so much for your videos Kim, I loook forward to the next one, and to the next stream so I can hopefully talk to you a little :) - Rorschawk

fear , angst , is the the most wonderful feeling , go the path to your angst , feel deep into it , relax into , fall , its the deepness of your self , the fountain of life , passion . (but dont think to much spirals of negative patterns , thats just a way to not really feel , when we dont want to feel our pains and fears , we flee in our thoughts )

As much as I love your videos and I often feel connected to you on a spiritual level, I'm not sure I agree with your recommendation to overcome loneliness by being alone. Maybe it's just me, but that just doesn't work. Being with others helps me not only to distract my haunting thoughts originating from my repeating depression periods, but it also gives me the necessary energy, motivation, passion and inspiration and all of that usually helps me feel better for at least another day, even if I'm alone. We all are social beings, we all need to feel inclusion, sense of purpose, be able to express our deepest emotions and know that somebody listens and cares. The real problem is that very few people actually do care, most of us just want to be surrounded by happy and successful people and those who have real issues and are not afraid to express them are quickly isolated. The social media era makes people forget about true human values and instead we all just pretend something all the time. As a society, we are more alone and isolated than ever before and some of us, unfortunately, have no clue how to effectively deal with it.

Many people, over years, have said to me, why do I focus on Negative things, as well as trying to be Positive, my answer is, life deals both at us, sometimes one, more than the other, I believe if you also spend time thinking if negative things, when they come along & they will, you will be more mentally & physically prepared. In other words, if we always focus on positive things, when something negative is there, we may nit know how to deal with it calmly & focused.

Some of these are very 'female' ways of dealing with sadness. 'Writing down your thoughts' won't do much for most men, whereas doing what you said not to do, i.e. combating sadness through action such as going out with friends or working, is actually what helps men to overcome sad thoughts. Until we understand this difference in the relationship which men and women each share with 'blue thoughts', we will not be able to help suffering men properly. A calming video nonetheless.
