Looking at things from the perspective of eternity could be exciting or terrifying. On one hand if you served God, you will be rewarded for all eternity, but if you disobeyed God all your life then you get tortured for all eternity. The human mind can’t even comprehend what eternity is. It is both exciting and terrifying at the same time.

I can admit that I'm a lukewarm Christian too. I was once at a point where I was willingly living for the world and telling myself that it doesn't matter what I do or where I end up when Christ returns. Now that I reflect on my thoughts it saddens me to see how much I've regressed and stopped longing for God as I once did. Thank you for this video. I wish I had a support group to help me and keep me accountable with my faith because my church is in shambles right now and it seems my Christian friends are lukewarm too.

I understand what she is saying is supported by scripture, however I will say even after decades some of us do not develop 'saving faith'. That is we don't have a testimony and testimony or not, we know we do not believe in Christ enough to share Christ with others with real true faith in our hearts. There needs to be a place or forum for those of us in this place- as we are still journeying on this earth trying to find real faith. I would not denounce Christianity publicly (ie telling Christians they are wrong), yet at the same time I have to admit that for me personally I have not found/ do not have true faith yet.

i liked this video far more than others about this topic. i think the reason why is that other perspectives are more works based. theyll have like long list of things that could technically apply to everyone. like doing the ‘bare minimum’ without really defining bare minimum. or theyll give a overly vague/broad definition. cuz the thing is is that no matter what you do, you can technically always do more. “give to charity? youre not giving enough! do volunteer work? youre not doing enough! donate a kidney? you only did one?! if you read just a couple of verses a day, you can read the whole bible in a year. BUT STOP DOING JUST THE BARE MINIMUM!” sorry. i hope im getting my point across

I agree with everything but just one note - 3:28 you mention the 'Word' in John 1:1 but it's not on the Bible, it's Jesus, not the Bible. Yes the bible is needed as the infallible and inerrant authoritative scripture of God and is needed to draw closer to God, but John 1:1 is about Jesus as an FYI. Jesus is the Word in John 1:1

Hi buddy I get you and your thoughts I once had the same like yours when I was in what is so called schools we tried to use our brains and logics by doing research more and more to try and figure out everything we wonder under the sun but we ended up in total confusion because of only four reasons 1) Human brain which can't contain even a spoon can't understand might God 2) Duty brain corrupted one can't handle and contain holy God 3) Temporary brain which is in you today and tomorrow gone can't understand eternity matters 4) The dead brain which needs to be resurrected can figure out and understand the living God Briefly by only the grace of God you can be saved otherwise you will still be behaving like you do but I promise you that you won't even last 100years and no matter how long you can live If you claim to be wise you should wake up your mind and come out of some phylosophics logic and matters that have enslaved you and be resurrected and became new creature in spirit that time you will be able to know and understand spirit things, the living God, eternal stuff, and so on otherwise you are wasting your time in denying things you can't understand my almighty God reveal you in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

I’m sorry you feel that way. One thing that helped me to realize things is if I pointed at a skyscraper and said that happened by random chance I’m pretty sure people would laugh me. It’s common sense, if there’s a building there’s a builder. Everything in the universe is infinitely more complex than a skyscraper. It’s statistically impossible for everything in the universe to exists and work together in an orderly way by random chance. And life does not come from non life.
