In a nutshell, the core principles of speaking confidently based on the video is first to dress something that gives you comfort in yourself. Secondly, to speak in a enthusiastic tone of voice, which makes the conversation more engaging and less awkward. Thirdly, to always think positive in every situation! This can help build up your confidence. :)

many many thanks to you Jade, I just made it through IELTS test, scoring a huge 7.5 in speaking. It apparently was the part I was most afraid of, and also got only 5.5 in the last test few months back. I believe your videos were very helpful, It helped a lot to improve my English and communication even in my native language. Please keep making them. There could be others who need it.

Benjamin is a great teacher and he can express dramatically so well. Jade is great too. So glad to see them making stuff together. She was so nice so enthusiastic in teaching or interacting with people back then. Hopefully Jade could pursue what is really good to her in an easier way. Things could be easier and in different phases if not to attach too hard. You two are nice and artistic persons. Cheers.

I have been struggling w/speech for 17 years: ON & OFF! I was brain injured by a drunk driver in March of 1999! NOT being in public much is PART OF IT! THIS has been EXtremly entertaining. Confidence is Everything, BUT I have learned to rely on others. Glass IS Half-full ;)* THANX, LisAnne Becotte

A most informative video on ways to speak confidently. I wholeheartedly agree with Benjamin that how one dresses may augment ones confidence. I congratulate Benjamin on his choice of necktie, a gentleman obviously quite conversant with sartorial elegance. I feel ever so confident when I wear the DaRocDok trademark tailored black Eton collar shirt together with a red paisley necktie: a combination that seems to be quite a hit with the ladies ;-,X

oh well...the struggles of a smalltalk... still can't get a grip on the proper theatrics of it. I find it really hard to sound engaging when I'm aware of the fact that the person speaking to me doesn't really care.
@IEMac610 жыл бұрын
when are you going to talk about posh accents again? :P xo
The man is significantly hairy, which does help a lot. Jade is naturally confident, therefore, she does not need any thing like that to enhance her confidence.

I don't know, positivity sounds fake and stupid to me. If you don't wanna hear people talking about their situation when it's negative then don't ask.
@reza67663 жыл бұрын
Trouble is, if you sound confident at work, some colleagues will be jealous on you and start talking behind your back. So waering a nice cloths and speaking confidently sometimes is backfired you. Just saying by experience...
