I agree with your take on AI, an extremely useful tool and not something for competent copywriters to be afraid of. There is even controversy now about AI degrading over time, watch this space. I really don't see AI taking over the farm, but as an ideation/research tool - amazing!

Whether AI will replace you or not will depend on the type of copywriter you are are you a copywriter who likes to write everything on his own and not rely on AI to do the heavy lifting ? or are you a copywriter who accepts and leverages the power of AI to research more effectively ? and then write more and better copies? if you are the former then my condolences are with you , YOU WILL BE REPLACED. but if you are the latter , then you have a chance to excel . copywriting is not just about midlessly banging words in a word document , its a skill of persuasion . has AI replaced the ability to type ? YES , partly but has the AI replaced the problem of PERSUASION ? ABSOLUTELY NOT. if POP was solved then you would have seen people using AI to form their own CULT. just think what people are even saying , the implications of persuasion go far beyond than just copywriting every influencer and every ad agency would have closed , coz why not , AI CAN SPEAK BETTER THAN ANY HUMAN RIGHT? but AI is merely operating on the solutions it already has , it still cannot solve novel problems a problem out of its dataset is an OUT OF THE BOX problem, so you still need an OUT OF THE BOX solution for an OUT OF THE BOX problem so if you dnt want to be replaced, embrace the OUT OF THE BOX thinking .

Alex, I'm quite skilled at writing copy, but adding a playful fancy native tone in it........ just sucks (being a non-native). learning Eng slang for months and maybe that's why I do it okay to some extent but still unsure... if its really that imp for me to enter the market? i am( 17)

Just set the playback speed to 0.5x - Alex might sound a bit drunk but she will be speaking much slower :)) i just tried it - sounds hilarious (maybe do 0.75 unless you want to laugh a lot :)) (I actually speed it up to listen faster and do 1.5x so depends on the person.)
