I dont have a sketchbook but rather I have started to journal. I resolved on my last birthday to journal daily but by drawing my day instead of writing. Though I write scribblings too in it. And if i dont have anything specific to draw for that day, I use it as a Look Book. Still going strong! 💪

Yeah, it is strange how perfectly interesting them sketch books are. I started my scrapbook in January 2023. I just filled my fifth sketchbook I started on my holidays last September 2022. Its amazing how different I draw from day to day, let alone weeks and months. When I find the courage, I will post some but really...I am a student, nowhere near where it's too interesting. But I am working on it. Kesh, I love your videos. You are down to earth amazing, both humour and skills. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

I think it's really important to remember that your sketchbook is a place to mess around and make mistake. If you look through the sketchbook tags in social media, most of the time you find perfect rendered pieces of art. Remember that you don't have to do that. If you're afraid of messing it up (i. e. the "first page struggle"), mess it up ON PURPOSE.

Another great video, Kesh! My sketchbook journals are full of terrible drawings, smeared ink, and the pages are wrinkled and warped from watercolors. They’re packed with ideas, experiences and memories… The main thing to remember is, your sketchbook is for you. It’s there for you to practice, brainstorm and try new things. To make mistakes, learn and have fun.

Very nice video very informative. Also for people who just bought a new sketchbook and can't start on the first pages etc and leave it empty. Try doing a random collage find anything from magazines and just stick it there to fill that emptyness. Worked for me. :)

I have maps for one schoolyear and every time I draw something I put it in those maps, it's kinda like a sketchbook but i like it more because you can use different types of paper or different sizes

Can you answer my little question, because it's been bugging me for days. Should I invest in digital or rather have like copics because I have never touched or grasps on a good art material. I tried thinking on my career as an artist in the long run and I think creating art and having expensive materials will kinda burn my money? Either way, I just wanted to know your thoughts about it.

It's actually about what you prefer. Do you like making traditional art? Then you can go that route. If you value, time, money and convenience, then digital is the way. Not saying that you cant do this with traditional, it's just going to take a whole to find your stride
