I would also add a 4th useful thing: to add variety in background elements I'm currently trying to make a big library and it's been difficult to find good pictures of bookcases to use. I've sometimes used the same bookcase a few times and then selected parts of it and generated different looking books so it doesn't have the copy paste feel. Even though they are background elements, clear copy paste will be noticeable

That was very helpful. Thank you!

I'm definitely against it for prompts and "creating" wholly new images, but I can see using it for the reasons you listed. So thank you for that!

This is currently how I feel the most comfortable using it so I’m happy to see it appealing to others as well!

Love the perspective. I'm enjoying the advantages of the AI assist in PS. I feel like it's definitely cut down on some of the more tedious tasks and given me more time to be creative in my workflows. When used the right way, AI can be very useful. 💯👍

Great tips Abbey - can't disagree on any of them. I was wondering how GenFill would work with your special genre - now I know! 😀Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I have yet to find all that many ways to use it with my specific type of editing! It's all very boring tasks haha

I feel like the photoshop community is going through what paint and canvas artists went through when photoshop was introduced. People that couldn’t paint suddenly had the ability to create beautiful works of art. The uses for photoshop and the applications grew in a way that nobody could predict. More jobs were created than lost. I feel like AI is the next logical step and the applications will be endless. Nobody’s a fraud for using it, they are ahead of the curve. Great job on the video.

Once again, Abby's out here expanding the way I think of things. I used to be wholeheartedly against generative fill, but holy beans this opened my eyes to the possibilities. Thanks!

Creating another pose feels like it miss the “not feeling like a fraud” mark
@TheSecondOne12311 ай бұрын
I see what you mean! Everyone will have their own thresholds. Including disagreements on if AI even makes you an ”fraud” or not. And of course the opposite as well!

I.e., why I left photoshop not cuz of ai but cuz of the lack self creativeness

Have you moved to Affinity Photo? It's hard to gauge whether people want Affinity Photo content or not! I like Affinity Photo a lot personally so would be more than happy to do videos on it.

Generative Expand = RIP resolution... no hot fix could undo bad production practice... just saying
@PhotoManipulation11 ай бұрын
True! There are ways to fix the resolution issues (possble future video idea!) but working with a purposefully shot .RAW file is always ideal.
