The keel is a monster! Perhaps you can design and plan for a shallower keel as The Duracell Project are doing. It sounds like the foam core repair could be a hassle.

The scariest piece of work like this is what to do if you need to order parts or have a machine shop make your a part. It seems like this boat was designed to be serviced which is very nice.

I'm curious how you will fix the hull deformation. On the outside My first thought is to grind it back replace or add to the foam and fiberglass the hull back to original strength. You didn't say whether the damage made it to the inside of the hull though as that doubles the job plus whatever needs to be moved to reglass the inside. I look forward to your solution.

Spiace vedere che lo scafo sia stato intaccato, un danno mica male; anche se è risolvibile è comunque una rogna, spero che il cantiere riconosca almeno una responsabilità parziale. Una curiosità: in origine il timone terminava a "T" rovesciata, che funzioni avevano quelle ali e come mai non lo avete ricostruito tale e quale?

Per il danno vedrai presto come lo ripareremo per fortuna è più estetica e idrodinamica che altro… ma va fatto a dovere! Timone a T rovesciata? No penso che tu ti riferisca all’immagine subacquea del timone! No quella era la perte spaccata è piegata a 90* gradi dal reeef botta allucinante e di notte sotto raffica improvvisa 40 nodi e pioggi. La ricostruzione è molto fedele all’originale. Puoi trovare il video di un paio di anni lo disinstallo e lo porto sul tetto della macchina Ho apprezzato molto il tuo commento grazie
