What kind of reaction do you expect from people then? Huh? I have mental problems myself, I am diagnosed with BPD as well as social phobia and other things. The second story doesn't add up to me. She said the cops weren't able to find out who the guy was but, he literally LICKED the window. Licking something definitely leaves traces of dna. I don't know if the story is fake or if that's just the police force being shitty as usual.

I wonder what kind of ritual was it. Since ashes are the product of burning a substance or a material, like wood, they symbolise change and a new beginning. Some use ashes in cleansing rituals to mark a positive change in their life. Those people were new neighbours so I wonder if this woman just wanted to perform a ritual to provide them a clean and positive start. I don't know about the gross cakes though. Also if she really believed in voodoo magic, I think it wasn't the dead rat that scared her, but something connected to it. In voodoo rituals it is common to make animal sacrifices to feed and beckon the spirits. Since her husband had died, maybe she was scared that someone is calling out his spirit or something. But anyway, it's not that woman's fault. She didn't murder the old woman. She didn't contribute to her death on purpose. I hope her conscious will find peace, beautifully speaking ;)
