I think it's an unfair comparison because you are comparing a V6 vs V8! The real comparison would be between AMG 63 and the others V8!

The Gle 53 competes with the x5 50i and the sq7 which both have v8. Gle 63s would compete with the x5m and the rsq7. So he’s not wrong at all. Mercedes decided to use a i6 instead of a v8 for this model.

Or maybe the GLE580, which has a Twin-Turbo V8, which is a detuned version of the AMG 63S engine.

I have S550 which has been great for me for last 12 years and still going strong. I am looking at GLE 53 SUV AMG now... I looked at one at the dealer today and they look great.. Not too big / nor small.

I have a question, isn't the X5 Xdrive 40i compared to this GLE 53 since they both have the in-line 6?

The 53 is a bit faster, with the bmw 40 I doing like 5.3 sec to 60. The 53 is doing 4.7 sec to 60 but they’re very different cars. One tailored to luxury and the other to sport. 53 being more sporty and 40i more luxury

Whoever had the idea to make the mercedes e63 amg s 6 cylinders and the c63 amg s 4 cylinders is the BIGGEST idiot EVER. They already lost a lot of customers for those 2 model cars. Very sad and upsetting at the same time.

It seems pretty comparable to my Aviator which we just sold in favor of the gle63s which should give us the power/performance that the Lincoln just couldn't provide.

@@dwnshft Ha yep I know it's quite a bit more than the AMG53 until you look at all the items that come standard with the 63s that are options on the 53. I'm sure the 53 is just as luxurious and rock-solid as the 63 so for people who don't need the ridiculous (but entertaining) power the 53 is a great choice..:) We've had our 63 now for almost a month and all I can say is dang, what an awesome vehicle! Like a luxury lounge inside a bank vault strapped to a rocket! Very impressed so far.

Get a 580 for comfort or a 63s or go for a 450 53 makes no sense less comfortable than a 63 and slower than a 580. It's just a bad package

Our 2024 Mercedes GLE53 broke down at 3900 miles and will be at the dealership for 1 month+ waiting for parts! I really regret buying it and will never buy a Mercedes again!

GLE 53 is underpowered which unfortunately ruins the entire package given it's LESS comfortable than a GLE 63S since it doesn't have the active air suspension and has the smaller breaks which are not capable of braking this at high speeds in emergency situations.

they have the exact same air ride suspension lol the 63 just gets active anti roll bars and engine mounts..

The 63S is more comfortable and faster and the 580 is even more comfortable than that, smokes the 53, and is 10k less fully optioned. The 53 is a poser car.
