I have been using a FireBoard controller with my Bronco 4 over 4 years. Not only will it hold perfect temps, it brings up to temp very fast. Another use is when I raise the fire basket for direct grilling, I set the fan to a set speed for consistent, super hot coals.

I've had my Bronco for about 5 yrs and I love it. I just purchased the Tahoma 900, still waiting for it to be delivered. Been watching a ton of videos of people such as yourself who own the Tahoma and are saying good things about it which I'm glad to hear! I'm pretty experienced smoker, been doing it going on 10 yrs now. I have the Ok Joe Highland as well. Great video, happy that you all are making videos on the Tahoma, keep up the good work!

The Tahoma makes things really simple. Planning on doing some side by side test between it and the Bronco. Thanks for watching.

I have the orange bronco pro. Which is nice, until it leaks slightly. Have you noticed cooks in cold temps that the drum sweats on the inside and finds any little welding porosity or dripping when you open the lid up? I sealed the case halves with RTV but where the bolts physically go through the case it still drips it seems until the drum itself is nice and hot.

On the first few cooks but after that it seems sealed up. I still have the streaks down the side of it from those first few cooks. I haven't noticed sweats but i also live in a really dry area, but I have noticed on the bronco a water pan is not needed to add moisture to the chamber like a lot of other smokers. I just got the Bronco Pro that Im waiting to put together once I do I'll look to see if any of these things occur on it.

@@rectortj I love the pro and have had good luck with it so far. I’m in Ohio so weather is always a pleasure. Haven’t ever used a water pan, just seems like it pools up inside of the lid slightly. I think it’s getting better the more I cook on it but it was at tad frustrating at first due to the orange paint. Lol you’ll love it tho!
