I ordered and returned a $3,500 enclosure about a month ago. This is easily just as good. I highly recommend doing this verses a buying a kit.

I tried this and ripped a driver right thru it... What kinda sheet material is it? Or is your ball speed slower than 140? That's the speed mine went thru at, not even that crazy..lol

I went through a lot of sheets and variations. I probably spent more money getting to this point than I would have getting a real screen. This is a walmart mainstays king size sheet. And must hang down with a net behind ot that takes most of the brunt force. Watch the original video I made that one explains why it works. I think it title is My impact screen is a bed sheet

This is the only sheet that holds up. Every other sheet I have tried, I broke through right away. www.walmart.com/ip/3501096480

really glad you shared several of your junk piles. I have some junk as well but I don't show it in my videos enough. In all seriousness thanks for sharing your build.

Great video! I’m also wondering about this mini computer you’re running… do you have a link to it by chance? Great setup and ideas!

The mini computer I am using even went down in price like $690 now. It's the UM790 pro from minisforum. The 64GB ram version. store.minisforum.com/products/minisforum-um790-pro

hey how much room do you need behind the bedsheet setup? very interested in doing a similar thing myself. love the cost effectiveness, and honestly, eco-friendliness of never needing to change the screen with this.

Really depends on the net you have behind and how tight. I have about 24 inches or so behind it. I'm sure with a tight net, you could get away with 18- 20

Your mini computer runs gspro just fine? That’s crazy. I thought about getting one and trying it but I was worried about if it would crazh

I was extremely surprised at how well it ran. This is also the best mini PC I could find with the highest specs. Um790 pro with 64GB ram

Do you believe the sheet would stop the ball just as effectively if there wasn't a net behind it?
@igolfandimakestuff26297 ай бұрын
I do not believe so. Although I don't think the ball will go through the sheet, I believe the ball would move the sheet in a way it would make it past the sheet at times, and could still have some speed to it.

Where did you get the black screen?
@igolfandimakestuff26296 ай бұрын
It's just a black bed sheet.

what software are you using?
@igolfandimakestuff26296 ай бұрын
I use GSPRO. Tried almost every other sim software, and nothing holds a candle to GSPRO.

I do something similar with a white photographers backdrop over an old impact screen.
@igolfandimakestuff26294 ай бұрын
It's amazing how well it works and how good it looks. A few others have told me about the photo backdrop as well. Maybe I'll try it one day
@dawnpatrolgolf4 ай бұрын
@@igolfandimakestuff2629 Works well and if you buy a large enough one and keep it clean, you can just move it around as it may ummm errrr tear or become unusable in one portion of the photo backdrop.

What are you using for the aim shift left/right? I see you pushing something with the end of you club, but I can't imagine it's an arrow key on a keyboard.
