Beautiful locs! You can easily reattach any that break with just a a crochet hook.
@Boocat0783 Жыл бұрын
Thank you…. Reattaching is exactly what I need to start doing idk why I don’t, I attempted to try it before, but they kept slipping out. Do you think a crochet hook will help better than that little poke tool.?

You look ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! Thanks for your encouragement and vulnerability! I also have alopecia on the front/sides of my head, so I just embraced it and both sides are always shaved/tappered. Like a sort of mohawk. And it works just fine! Most just think its a funky style and I get complimented often. I have mid-sized locs with low density hair.
@Boocat0783 Жыл бұрын
Thank you 💕💕💕 I appreciate your warm vibes. I want to shave the sides too but that my hair in that area come in so thin and fin I can’t get the fade look yet… how long have you had your locs?
@iniudoh8020 Жыл бұрын
@@Boocat0783 hello Beautiful! Thanks for the reply! I have had my locs for about 1 month. I cheated though 🫣… started with HH extensions. Don’t worry about having a faded look. I just cut mine all the way down! Then I use mascara to cover up the bad areas or Caboki with hair gel, or nothing at all. But once it’s completely low, none will be the wiser. You are just another sexy beauty with a funky hair style!! 😍🥰🔥🔥 My hairstyles always come to the front. Like a big platt from back to front, then a swoop and pins at the front. I learned to be creative with my hair loss❤❤❤.

Very nice progress ❤ I have spots from traction alopecia and I have been using CW Haircare and I have seen a difference in less than 2 months. The key is consistency in using the products and massaging your scalp to stimulate hair growth. Your locs are beautiful and so are you. I was compelled to subscribe and support you and your channel. I plan on doing more videos of my hair journey here like I have been on TikTok because you don’t see many women over 40 as much showing their journey and definitely not at my age 54. Thanks for sharing ❤

Thank you💕💕 I also just joined your channel so I will be able to follow along yours👑 how long has your loc journey been I agree that is the main reason I started sharing because I was not able to find many channels that I was able to relate to let alone any encouragement in regards to thinning edges, I really appreciate your kind and warm vibes thank you 💕

Thank you so much for following me. I have been locked for 7 months now and it has been journey to say the least. 😂 I was accustomed to wearing wigs so the transition has had its ups and downs but overall I am happy I have taken the leap! I have worn the loc extensions which is what prompted me to decide to loc my own hair after falling in love with them. It has taken everything for me not to go back to those like in my profile pic but I am determined to continue to stick it out with my natural hair instead. I love it here and just can’t wait to continue to see how my own hair looks once fully matured.

Try checking you vitamin D levels. I had a spot went to the dermatologist and they diagnosed me with alopecia areata. I started on creams and shots to bring my hair back and it didn’t really work. I did some research on the effects of being deficient in certain vitamins. Started taking vitamin D and my spot is gone.
@Boocat0783 Жыл бұрын
You know what I’ve recently been told my vitamin D is low 🤔 thank you💕 I’m not good at taking pills, so I must admit that I need to take them as I should. I’m going to get the gummies ones today appreciate the advice

@thegoodwife144 Жыл бұрын
@@Boocat0783 yes ma’am .. just curious❤️
@Boocat0783 Жыл бұрын
@@thegoodwife144 I honestly feel like it stems from many ranges. the many different types of pressure/stress I put on these area of mine. Rubber bands ponytail as a kid, tight braids/ not taking braids down round edges for maintenance. Pro style gel pile up in my teens. QUICK WAVES got whatever I had left like before the cap I use to mold my hair and apply🤦🏾♀️ i even recall a situation I was in got braids pulled out ect…by high school of not being mindful to my sides they was thinning. But I can’t pin anything specific.

@@Boocat0783 aww wow. i’m not too educated on the topic but it sounds like traction alopecia.. i wonder if a specialist could be helpful for you!
@Boocat0783 Жыл бұрын
@@thegoodwife144 I appreciate you asking but yes definitely traction alopecia. If I was mindful I would of explored the options they have- injection in the scalp. Graph, meds with side effects ect years ago. I’m in my mid 30s I’ve gotten to the point like I haven’t had sides this long why go thru the procedures to obtain now (I think it’s just me being scary lol) so I’m hoping me using natural oils and leaving my sides alone will help some fuzz grow 😂🙏🏾. But I would highly recommend a specialist to any suffering from balding 🥰
