the note about the first year getting everyone up to the same level has calmed me so much, impostor syndrome is hitting hard right now so that’s made me feel at ease knowing i won’t be left behind so thank you so much!

I actually had to adapt mostly going from high school to uni. First to second year was easy peasy because the courses became really really interesting! If you want to know some of them (over 5 years!) I have a video on that! 4:50 Cool! Immunology! I like the SEMinar concept! Real clever :D Subbed!

You made it look so easy, i am international student or i will be, do you think i will find it hard? I love Biom this why i will be doing it and unfortunately i couldn't do it in my country so do you think that Language barrier will be a big problems? I am no sure if my English is good or not, and not just that i am terrified of the fact that i might do Presentation Infront a lot of people.

Hi, I’m studying Biomed this year as a first year but via online due to Covid situation. I am kind of worried about completing my first semester online as I might not get good grades. I think in your video, you mentioned that the first year subjects doesn’t count for your final grades. Does this mean that when I’m applying for med or dentistry after graduation, they won’t look at my first year grades? And just wondering if foundation elective and breaths courses count for your final grades? I am so lost with this new system😭 Please give me an answer for this question thanks!!!

Depends how you define difficulty. There is coursework at uni, so not all of your grade is weighted on the exam; the ratio varies for each course and university. The content is deeper, will require a lot of independent study to understand and covered at a fast pace. Ideally, your degree will be a subject you enjoy and therefore easier to complete since motivation will help bring you along.
