Years ago, during college, I modeled for hair stylists, several were famous and owned their own hair care products. However, since then I have never had my hair cut by a hair stylist who discussed with me beforehand in depth what I wanted. I wish Dan cut women's hair because he takes the time to discuss what the client wants and if that is possible for their hair texture, current length, etc.

I have 75% graying, natural blond, so even at age 68 I still like to color / cover my gray with a beige-blonde. It’s so hard to find a great colorist, which I have , but the problem is that her cutting skills imo are not the greatest. Fortunately I have a relatively simple shoulder length bob but I like some layering and a slight shorter in back and angled longer in front (but the back is not stacked). I’m always happy with the color but rarely totally happy with the cut. What to do ??! Haha. I’ve had some bad colorists so switching is scary.

I can totally relate. I had a pixie cut in 2019, then COVID hit and I just let my hair grow until last month and I went into the shop and requested an over the ears pixie type cut. After the initial shock my hubby and family said they like me better in short hair. The cut can make the man, he looks very handsome in this cut.
