Congratulations once again. I absolutely loved your natural look 😍 I Didn't use locs for my wedding (they weren't a thing then), but I was considered weird because I insisted on using my own hair only (it was permed and FULL and way past my shoulders). I also refused to fix false nails. I grew my own natural nails out and did a French manicure. My dream was always to be 100% me on my wedding, however it didn't quite work out that way. 5 weeks to the date I sustained a hollow needle piercing accidentally whole transfusing a patient with multiple units of blood. As the blood came from an outside lab and was questionable, I had to start HIV medication immediately as prophylaxis. 5 days into that I woke up to my ENTIRE face covered in what looked like pimples, but was actually a drug reaction. At that point HEAVY foundation was the only way out 😅 As my mum kept reminding me - some people have been known to run mad on their wedding day, so wearing 6 layers of foundation wasn't the worst thing that could happen 🤣
