This was a staple of my gaming childhood, and now I've just finished playing the first quest with my 6-year-old and 4-year-old boys. I can't even tell you how fun and nostalgic it was to have them direct me exactly where to go and what to do throughout the game, and then beat it a few days ago. They wanted to play Second Quest, but I wasn't interested in running around everywhere randomly trying to find the levels or using a guide, so I just watched your speedrun, which was awesome. Thanks for keeping the narration clean as well, because then I could watch it again with the boys! Great video and congrats on the great run!

I really like second quest, but they both give cool challenges. The restarts at the beginning is to manipulate the leevers to drop money and the goriyas to drop bombs

Yes strange and at level 7 again. And he also paid with one heart to old men twice.

Why do you skip getting the heart container from Aquamentas (board 1)? There are other places in the run where you go way more than 1 step out of your way to get a heart container.

because later in level 2 he uses up+A to warp back to the dungeon entrance after getting the recorder. Since he didnt pick up the heart container in Level 1 he will still be on 3 max hearts and thus full health and has the beam sword

There's a collision glitch when you turn around for 1 frame on a specific pixel that lets you clip halfway into the block

@@BIGROHAN28 it's slower to pick them up. Also in level 9 after using up+a at the silver arrow you can get a fairy and get beam sword back

Sheesh! Never seen the 2nd Quest get bent over and take it this hard from anyone. xD Congrats Lack on this WR even if this was 2 years ago! I wonder if it still holds up now? PS: I tweeted you on X regarding Zelda Classic. Dunno if you ever did it. But I have a ZC Quest that would be fun for ya to do. :3
