Good to know that those exist.we definitively never stop learning. Thanks

I was glad to see that you got the origin of jeepers-creepers right. Hocus-pocus has a similar origin. It is based on the Latin words used during the consecration of the Catholic Mass - "Hoc est enim corpus meum." Sometimes, you will hear, "Hocus pocus dominocus," referencing the Latin "dominus," meaning "lord." Although I was born in NY, USA, I do appreciate watching your videos.

I just decided I'll rewatch this on every important holiday as a celebration, 'cus I just loved that. OTOH, call me Dark Mark if you like, but although american English' ability to replace almost all of these by a single 4-letter word makes that language a bit dull, it still has value when brevity is required. Like ... under fire.

This was great fun. Thank you. We also have "icipici" /itsy-pitsy/ and "hókuszpókusz" (hocus-pocus) in Hungarian. "Pici" means tiny in itself and we refer to something even smaller by putting "ici" in front of it. The origin of "hocus-pocus" might be the Latin words of catholic transubstantiation during the mass "hoc est corpus". Jeepers creepers I couldn't hold myself back.
