Today I wanted to share 30 Autistic Creators for world autism awareness day 2021 for you to take a look at, watch and share their content. Hello indie people, I'm Andy and I have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I make videos on autism from the perspective of an autistic adult. Sharing my autism experiences to help other autistic people and autism families to improve their understanding of autism.
This channel is focused on raising autism awareness & acceptance of autism. To try and change attitudes towards autism, to educate people about autism for those who are new to the autism world.

Red? Interesting color choice, most of my friends in the brony fandom just go rainbow. But while I get it, I don’t think we need to entirely throw out thinks like the color blue puzzle pieces. I can understand if you don’t, but as a blue unicorn with cutie mark I based on the AS logo before I knew better, I think of it more as owning who you are, kind of like that game of thrones quote about wearing such things as armor

Hey Andy, Thanks for this weeks videos! I also watched your video with Sez! (i will be watching more or their videos as well) It's nice to see different autism content creators work together. Paul at Apergers From The Inside was the first videos i watched after first realising i could be on the autism spectrum. Then i watched your videos, followed by Yo Samdy Sam, then Purple Ella (who i can relate to as an autistic parent of children that need acceptance as well!) And you in turn brought me to Sez Francis! I recommend for someone who is an adult that believes they may have autism not only to do the research, but to watch videos from different people with autism to get a better idea of what autism looks like in real people. Acceptance is important. If we were all the same the world would be lame!

After thpough Stephanie and Princess Aspien i just watched. You could watch if yu have time Paige Layla Candian appeared on the Aspie World twice. It most feel weird that us subscribers know more about the channel you putthan you do? Youa re our special interest. I do check conspiracy theories online I do have other new and old interests. Not to do with autism. Psycholgy psychriatry. Adam Wonders did start a channel then the pandemic happen he stop doing videos. I like him like Yo Samdy Sam he discovered autism while studying psychology at university.

"Jam Jeffrey" and "Autistamatic" did not make your list. Some may not like these channels as they are more focused on the introspective and cranial approach with a focus on generation of thought and conversation. I find their content very engaging and people running them very responsive.

I unsubsidized to Stephanie Bethany a while ago. As a queer person, I'm won't support someone who has homophobic views, even if they're hidden behind a veil of prayer and love(but not acceptance). Soft bigotry is still bigotry. And rather interesting when the same person is pushing for acceptance about what they can't change in themselves. I'll definitely check out the others, though.

Unfortunately, I looked on her channel and clicked on the top channel under her channels (which includes yours and various others! overall not a bad list) which is a ministry that promotes homophobia, racism, anti semitism, islamophobia, science denial, and the message that these views should be spread to as many people as possible. I was... extremely surprised since there are many ministries that are not that ultra conservative. Just scary.

@@NoelleMar Hi Noelle, I'm just going to leave my points on this below for yourself and others reading these comments about Stephanie to read and think about. 1) I chose people in this list based on their autism content, not their beliefs etc. Also I did say very clearly that I might not agree with ALL of the things that they do or say in the video itself. With the religion side of things, it's not something I believe in but respect that others will not share the same believe as me either. I have talked to Stephanie about the religion side and It is a more conservative view of the Bible. Again she has apologised for what she said/what she has implied and that's that as far as I am concerned. Don't get me wrong, I was concerned beforehand as I have friends in the LGBTQ community but the concerns were lessened when I directly asked me the whole thing with her. 2) I know there's this video about Stephanie talking about how she homophobic etc. Quite honestly as far as I'm concerned I don't believe that she is. Yes the video is bad but can we not make mistakes? Can we not learn and grow from those mistakes? Do people don't get the concept of what someone has said in the past might not be how they think now? I get some will be p***ed about me including her but again look at my point on 1) 3) If you have concerns about a person, why not directly speak to them instead of basing your opinion from others? This isn't directly aimed at you Noelle but for others who keep saying she hasn't changed etc. That's all I'm going to say on the matter. Thanks for coming to my TED talk ☺️

@@IndieAndy I appreciate your thoughtful reply. For me, its not just based on what others have said. It’s the fact that she apologized-but then, for example, still lists that ministry at the top of her other channels, even if she says doesn’t fully agree with it. (Though again, with the wide variety of prejudices espoused by that ministry, it’s hard for me to know what parts she does agree with.) However, it is her channel, and she can do that, whether I agree or not. I don’t have any interest in forcing her (or ability) to change her mind. And it’s your channel, you have to use your personal judgment to recommend whoever you want. A lot of people do find her content regarding autism to be helpful. I was just disturbed by these connections.
