I’ve been mixing fenugreek powder in my deep conditioner for 6 months now, and I have to say, it’s done more for my hair than the most expensive products on the market. My hair was weak and broke very easily when detangling. But the fenugreek patched up the damaged areas of my strands. Now there is minimal breakage. I’ve heard great things about henna, but I have been hesitant to try it because some say it loosens their curl pattern. But since this isn’t straight up henna, but a blend of so many herbs, this may be a better bet. I’m going to give it a try. Thanks girl!

I use henna regularly to color my hair. The trick is not to leave it on overnight. Leaving it on too long makes the henna dry and cake up in the hair. I still get the benefits of thicker hair by only leaving it on for a couple of hours. It just won’t cake up and it’s easier to wash it out.

@africandiamond44724 жыл бұрын
@@delucastudios3097 dont use rice water daily if you have sensitive scalp try a small patch before the whole head as it can be itchy to some people and it can make your curly pattern loosen a bit.
@delucastudios30974 жыл бұрын
Naomi Msowoya I said weekly not daily. I want to use it 1x a week but scared my hair might become too hard
@africandiamond44724 жыл бұрын
@@delucastudios3097 even weekly sometimes it's not good but once a month will be fine, but it depends on individual as some people use daily as a hair spray, so just have a try on a small part at the back or side of the hair,as i used rice water and am 4c but hair was loosen a bit and i stopped using it,and the only thing it helps to my hair was my hair breakage reduced, and now my hair is back again,and maybe i will do it again next month but not sure yet.So it's a try and error as each person hair is different even you are the same hair type.

Thanks for demonstrating use of ayurveda herbs. I have tried a mixture of similar herbs by a different company with different oils. My experience has been that with continual consistent usage it affected my internal health i.e lipid profile. I discontinued use and now use low oil or no oil. Understandably everyone is different but buyer/user beware 🤗
@avasd596 жыл бұрын
Deb Stay Blessed it affected you how? And did the herbs itself or did the oil combination affect you? English is my third language so I'm a bit confused by that part of your comment. I've recently bought a few ayurvedic herbs myself
@debstayblessed95496 жыл бұрын
Ava S. Hi It was the continual consistent usage of the oils. The herbs no problem. The oils become internalized thru the skin. After continual and consistent usage my blood work showed an increase in cholesterol. Being very health conscious I significantly discontinued oil usage. My cholesterol is back within 'normal'. That was my experience. Everybody is different. Thanks the inquiry. Hope it helps.🤗 Stay Blessed. Also, poor lipid profile which includes high cholesterol is a marker for heart disease. The number 1 killer disease in America.

I got lost at not rinsing the oils out of the hair. Oil doesn’t serve as a base. It’s a sealant and therefore seals each strand making penetration impossible for the herb treatment. I’m not preaching here, but their is a science to Ayurvedic therapeutics and this isn’t sound. If it works for you, congratulations.

The bag looks to be the same size bag that's on the website which is 250 g or 8.8 oz.

Lyn a half pound is much smaller than that. If you search 8oz online you can see a size reference
@leanonlene2226 жыл бұрын
She originally sold this in 16oz bags. She only offers in 8.8oz bags now and a sample size. She sold the 16oz for $25 b4 the New Year. You had to pay for shipping at that time. Now you get the 8.8oz bag w/ free shipping. I know because I purchased after the New Year when her website went back up. I didn't notice that she had decreased the product amount by half until after it was purchased. She might send KZbinrs the original size. All the reviews I've seen on KZbin have the large 16oz bag.

This is too many herbs, if you experience an adverse reaction you will not be able to specify what caused it and likely have to throw away the entire package. Also I would be concerned about how the herbs all react toward each other. I think this should be for a more advanced user of ayurvedic products, if used at all. I would not recommend this approach even though it worked for you.
@cokacola1236 жыл бұрын
This happened to me and mine only had 6 herbs in. I would definitely recommend for people to do a patch test first.

My honest opinion..... You truly do a lot to your hair isn't it. Very apparent for video clicks? I believed that you could have learnt your lesson from your massive set back some months ago by leaving your hair alone, to me that is the best healing practice u can apply. On an odd occasion I watch a video from you, you be doing something new to your hair. This is the problem with textured hair females. ... always doing the most. Anyway if its helpful for those struggling sisters then hey..... However a continuous application of different products damages hair, had to express my thoughts. Have a blessed day. I suppose the thumbs down are in agreement with me on this one. Take Care.

I agree only in the sense that you really have to understand how to use products to gain the benefit and not detriment. I think she understood that all these herbs could be extremely drying to her hair so she applied moisturizing type oils first. She only left it for an hour and followed up with conditioner. In this case it was a benefit. We typically do something new/different for our hair depending on the season or weather, if our scalp is dry or if we develop an iron deficiency and see hair loss. I was tempted to give a thumbs down because you don't know how much of any of those powders are actually mixed in. It could be made up of 75% sandlewood and cedarwood for all we know. I'd prefer to mix the herbs myself and know what and how much I'm getting.
