Great work, very useful, thanks. One small comment is that examples use much more difficult words and expressions than the basic verbs being taught. Hard enough to remember 30 verbs, please use simple sentences to help us out ! Cheers !

more on the copula là. The grammar requires là before the noun. If using it with verb/adjectives, then là can be omitted.

first problem i'm having is that when you look at the alphabet, none of them have marks underneath the letters...but you see that all the time as the example at 0:20 ....can any explain where these extra letters come from or what their story is, please? and also sometimes you see letters with two marks, such as in this sentence: mẹ tôi là một đầu bếp. there seems to be more vowels than what many sources present as the alphabet...

Are you talking about the word "mẹ" at 0:20? The reason for this is that some marks are for intonation and some marks are part of the actual letters (those are the ones you'll see in the alphabet). The dot under the vowel in "mẹ" (mother) means that you need to pronounce the whole word with a lower and shorter tone than you would for the word "me" (tamarind). If you watch episode #1 of my vlog, I give more examples of this and explain a bit more :) (Sorry, shameless plug)

😆 😆 Pepper. Vietnamese language are very hard to learn. there are 6 tones in vietnamese language that's why's so hard.i was Born there in the south of Vietnam and is still hard for me. She's from up North.down in the south much more clearer.

Sounds like you saying hi phuc and not hanh phuc
