PPM clock starts at 3:00. An interesting notation is the basil is absorbing about 10% of the ppm mixture, as it droops. When it recoops to 1400ppm +/- ... You see it perk up. I wonder what is causing this 10% ppm loss? As in, could you have a higher concentration of that 10% loss, making the plant grow faster and droop less? Does anyone know what that 10% rapid absorption is within the 1400 ppm? Magnesium? Nitro?

May I ask how you increase your CO2 concentrations from 400ppm to 1400ppm? I've been trying to think of a way to increase the concentration for my food crops outside. They are directly underneath where my house boiler outputs its exhausts, but I have no idea whether direct exhausts would be useful for my plants, or how to control the concentration. Thanks.

Chelsea QPublic Ah, thanks. That's a good idea. I've been thinking of investing in a greenhouse to grow things in so I can have better pest control too. Would be easier controlling CO2 inside a greenhouse I guess.

What the heck, how is this possible? I planted my basil 3 months ago and they're still so thin with barely any leaves, the most pairs of leaves some of them have are 3 pairs. Most of them look like these ones do at the 1:45 mark. I just thought basil grows extremely slow so I was so shocked to see this video. I'm so confused, I dont know what is wrong

The Proof Is Trivial "nearly optimal compared to outside" makes no sense. and also, plants survived for million of years before indoor grow lights. most plants die because people treat them like an experiment.
@CoolHippy7 жыл бұрын
Troublein 421 plants survived outside in their preferred environment and climate... Realistically only a few places on the planet have the best conditions for plants to grow outside... By being able to control all environmental factors you can ensure proper conditions despite local climate.
