As a classically trained chef that's into fitness I can say that if you can, you should try and put more time into your meal prep to make it tastier and palatable. I take more time meal prepping using techniques working in the restaurant industry to make my prepared meals actually taste good and be something I actually want to eat. I know what its like to eat the same old tasteless chicken and broccoli and it sucks, this is why I think taking the time to make your food taste good is worth it.
@volcom053453 жыл бұрын
Grilling the food definitely helps add flavor without adding extra calories or condiments which makes the food more palatable.

Just so everyone knows, the “serving size” required to get that 0g of fat from your spray is 1/15th of one second. Most people need 2-3 seconds of spraying to make it work, i.e. 30-45 servings! Lies! The manufacturer is abusing the government rules to be able to say it is zero calorie. It’s oil and a propellant in there. I prefer to measure the oil I use and just toss things in a bowl with 1-3 g of oil. He is definitely right when he says it is easy to go overboard on oil.

@Vidalburgos3 жыл бұрын
Lol use the water lines for your rice cooker. They’re usually solid too!
@Dakarn3 жыл бұрын
Not always. There are different kinds of rice, and different ages. New Rice (Rice picked within the last season) is a 1:1 ratio for rice to water. 1 cup of rice, 1 cup of water (after washing). Old Rice (Or "Aged" rice) is kept for another year, and needs 1.5:1 or 2:1 water to rice ratio. So, 1 1/2 cups water to 1 cup rice, etc. Brown Rice, Jasmine Rice, Basmati Rice, Imperial Rice, Wild Rice... etc. etc. etc. They all have their different "wants" when it comes to how much water you put in it. The lines aren't always a good measure. Finger method is almost always flawless.
@Vidalburgos3 жыл бұрын
@@Dakarn finger method is meant for stove top rice and your point of ratios doesn’t make sense if you just use your finger to measure each time lol Not all rice cookers are the same but decent ones like mine have settings for various types of rice and the only thing you need to worry about is making sure there is enough liquid. Hence the lines lol

Awesome video. Do you just freeze the plates that you haven’t eaten yet? How long can you leave a plate like that frozen before it goes bad?
@alwayscurious23763 жыл бұрын
For safety, 7 days at refrigeration temps (40 deg f or less). Quality is a different story, you can technically keep food frozen forever, meaning it's safe to eat, but it will likely taste off after 6 months.
